Luxury at its Finest - Resort, Spa and Home All in One...

Bahama Bay Resort and Spa is ideally located just 10 minutes from all of Disney's world class theme parks and attractions. As well as convenient to numerous shopping centers, dining and entertainment venues, and championship golf. Situated on 70 lush tropical acres on Lake Davenport.

Our 2nd floor condo is beautifully appointed with updated mattresses, living room furniture, and flat screen T.V.'s. It is fully equipped with all the comforts of a contemporary Florida home yet all the amenities of a full service resort! From the two lanai's, you overlook a pool, hot tub and courtyard. Right across the street is the 24 hour clubhouse, with business center, the basketball courts, and the kids pool and playground. Kid friendly activities and games are available.

Just off the lake is the beautiful sand beach and volleyball courts. Ponds and the nature reserve make a walk around the complex relaxing and entertaining.

Very clean, beds super comfortable, lots of bath towels, didn’t expect to do wash but had to run an emergency load and was delighted to see a starter pack with items to do this vs running out late to find detergent. Host was very easy to communicate with and check in process was a breeze. Would definitely stay again and that’s saying a lot bc I have major OCD with staying out and felt super clean n comfortable here.

We traveled with an infant, and the condo had everything we needed. They provided both a playpen and a high chair, which made our stay much easier. The kitchen was fully equipped and had everything we needed to prepare our meals. The area felt very safe, and the location was perfect for me since it was close to Northeast Regional Park, making it easy to go for a run. Overall, it worked really well for our stay.

The condo was great and as advertised. The problem was the condo above us. The floors at these condo's are very thin and obviously not insulated enough. Kids above bounced balls and stomped the floor until 1am and started again at 7am. My kids were even complaining that once they fell asleep, they were waken by loud noises from condo above.

All good, except smoke detector was beeping when we arrived / needed new batteries. Called Housekeeping and they took care of it. I was afraid there were no blankets but discovered they were hidden under the top sheet. More extra blankets in closet would be appreciated, as well as coffee filters. Everything else was terrific!

My sisters and I were born in Scotland, moved to Canada (Southern Ontario) for our dad's football career, and settled in Winnipeg. We have fond memories, as children, visiting the Orlando area, and wanted to share the same experiences with our children.

Why they chose this property

With young families, we wanted to find a location that felt like a resort, offered all the comforts of home, and catered to families. We sure found it! Bahama Bay is a gated and guarded community. It feels like a Caribbean getaway, with great kids areas and activities, and lots of fun for mom and dad, too. It is minutes away from all of Central Florida's attractions, and only 1 hour to the ocean. Once we entered, we knew this was the place for us. We didn't want to leave.

What makes this property unique

Our condo is a 1232 sq. foot, 3 bedroom, 2 bath condo. The two balconies are off the living room and master bedroom. It's great to sit outside, overlook the courtyard, and enjoy your coffee, lunch, or whatever else. If you don't feel like cooking, restaurants are right on-site, or if you need a break, head to the on-site spa, and enjoy some pampering! Feel like you need a work out? There's a gym on-site as well.
