Amazing trip in fun and friendly estate

We opted for this penthouse apartment as, having stayed in Bahama Bay before, knew we would appreciate the extra space. We were not disappointed. Our apartment was immaculately presented and perfectly located near the bar/clubhouse area. Thoroughly enjoyed staying here and cannot recommend this one enough.

A fantastic villa in Bahama Bay with everything a family needs

1st impressions... huge, very huge... 3 large bedrooms. Master is very impressive, can sleep with sliding doors open, looks over a quiet lake with occasional frog / bird noise but nothing that'll interrupt a nights sleep. En suite to master is massive.. double sinks, huge shower and bath. 2nd bedroom had large king/queen bed... 3rd bedroom has 2 singles and shares (a huge) bathroom with bedroom 2. The property is on the 3rd floor but that shouldn't be an issue and is welcome after all the Dennys/Wendys/ihobs/ribs/stakes/shakes! The 2 pools are large and heated, i think 3 maybe 4 hot tubs in total.. will fit a party of 12 comfortably. Make sure to take a walk to the lake by the restuarant, sandy beach area, nice small pier looking over lake. Great for an early coffee or a late beer/cocktail. Just don't swim in the lake... Pools are safe for youngsters with special gates at all entry points. Parking is good. Just up the road is the 192 which takes you down to Disney in around 15-20 mins... Overall resort nice and quiet, people are friendly. There is a free coffee machine in reception area, takes a while but good enough (for US coffee!). Take milk if you prefer that to powdered creamer! A selection of teas there too. Back to apartment... TV's in all bedrooms, big TV with DVD & stereo in lounge. Nice seating areas, huge fridge with ice maker, all essentials for small children (crib / push chair). Theres a washing machine / tumble dryer and hoover if needed.. we took some of our own dishwasher tablets/laundry detergent as wasn't sure if we'd need. 2 large bins downstairs which you can take your rubbish to daily without a fuss (1 general / 1 recycling)... So to the down side - I like to hang my wet washing / trunks / towels on a clothes rail.. there wasn't one. When it's 90 degrees out it feels wrong to put on an energy guzzling tumble dryer... but I expect thats how the US does it.... Apart from that, super brilliant and you won't be disappointed... thanks to the owners / Vacasa & Bahama Bay for a great vacation!!!

Fantastic Orlando base

My family would thoroughly recommend this holiday condo. It is a fantastic home from home whilst in Florida. We loved the space and comfort it provided. Lovely balconies to sit out in and enjoy breakfast etc. 2 minutes to the closest pool and beautiful Lake Davenport. I would definitely love to go back and stay here. This was our 6th trip to Florida and we usually stay in a villa but this is perfect for us.

We started our vacation with four nights at Rhonda's excellent property, we found it very well appointed, very comfortable beds, more than enough space for four adults and two children, very clean, great view, great pool, excellent reception and gate house, would recommend to anyone and can't wait to return, thanks to all.

Paradise

The penthouse condo was exactly as promised. My significant other and I felt immediately at home. At one point said I could live there. We were there when Milton hit. Blew out front bedroom window. Management on the property 24/7. Person answered phone at 3:15 a.m. Took info and promptly at 8 maintenance was at the door cleaning up glass and temporary fix until window could be installed. Owner of condo was in constant contact as he was concerned for our safety. Can’t say enough good things about our stay. Look forward to returning again!

Amazing Property

The restaurant was next door and the pool attached is gorgeous with sand covered tiki area. It is beautiful property. We went to SeaWorld and it was nice to come back to a quiet beautiful escape. It’s 4 of us and it was so big and comfy it’s exactly what you need if traveling to Orlando

Beautiful Property!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bahama Bay and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to get away to Florida! The unit we stayed in was beautiful, comfortable, and spacious! We enjoyed the onsite restaurant, the pool, and the beach, and enjoyed playing ping - pong with my teenage daughter on the beach! The drive to Disney was approximately 20 to 30 minutes, and restaurants and shopping were 10 to 20 minutes. Highly recommend!

Clean!

This was one of the cleanest rental units we have stayed at. It even smelled clean when we walked in. No complaints about the property. My only complaint is we went to Disney most of the days we stayed and it was a little father than I would have liked. I think there was extra traffic from spring break and it took us over 35+ minutes each way to get to and from the park. When we left Saturday, traffic didn't seem as bad and things were much faster! Overall, beautiful condo and we loved the amenities.

More than I expected

I was not expecting to have to climb 3 flights of stairs. I am unsure if I didn't see that in the listing. When entering it was breathtaking. The openess and tall ceilings had me ooing and ahhing. I loved this place. Plenty of room and space for everyone. I would definately come back here again. We decided to stay here when we were going to magic kingdom. Perfect location, not too far away at all. We have a great view of the lake and loved the wrap around balcony. Only things I would recommend is if you plan on cooking there are no seasonings or food supplies. Not even salt and pepper. Another great attribute was that it was cold and needed blankets so we called the front office and asked how many we needed and sent up two within an hour. Everything was in new condition and clean. My number one requirement. It was a very pleasurable place to stay.

Great stay…great location!

We came down for Christmas Break. We’ve been to Florida many times and were looking for somewhere centrally located. Used the heated pool and hot tub a couple days and it was great. Went to the east coast twice—once to Kennedy Space Center (about 1-1/2 hour drive) and once to the beach and dinner at the beach near Vero Beach (about 2 hour drive). Also went to Disney Springs (about 25 min drive because traffic heavy) and went to Disney a couple days (about 25-30 min drive). Great location all around! Area was great to walk in too. Felt safe and a lot of nature to look at. We enjoyed the screened in balcony and the nice large table out there. We were pleasantly surprised that two of the bedrooms had balconies. Somehow I missed that when I booked the condo. Thanks for everything! Wish we didn’t have to leave!!

Our family of four stayed for four nights. The condo was spacious, comfortable and close to the amusement parks. The pools looked lovely, but unfortunately it was a little too chilly when we were there to use them. The onsite restaurant was delicious!

What a great place to stay! The condo was spacious yet cozy and had a great view from the lanai of a small lake and trees. It felt secluded. The beds were comfortable. We plan to stay here again when we return next year.

Fabulous Condo!

I chose this condo because of the privacy it showed, the size and how close it was to the tradewinds pool. The condo exceeded my expectations and was more beautiful in person than in the pictures. While it is quite a hike up for flights of stairs to the top floor it was well worth it every trip that we made. I would most definitely stay at this condo again is Bahama Bay resort has become our yearly vacation spot when we travel to Florida to visit our family and friends there. The resort itself is fabulous. We had three teenage girls with us, one being our daughter and the other two being our nieces and they were able to go out and explore on their own and I never had to worry about them. There are many amenities and we are home bodies so we did not travel away much but had our friends and family come visit us there and we utilize the pools and I had a wonderful time.

Lots of Room to Breathe

Very good location with lots of restaurants and things to do. Condo was very large, each of the 3 bedrooms where spacious as while as the two bathrooms. Great resort with lots of choices 1 large pool with lots of loungers and tables. Only complaint would be wish the pool bar and grill had been open and available. Wonderful
