The location was fantastic! While we had a great deal of privacy (the cabin was in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by young sequoia trees), we were also conveniently situated close to grocery stores, local natural wonders (Big Trees State Park, Sourgrass) and historic towns and sites. The cabin was very clean and nicely decorated - we made use of all the amenities, spending a nice amount of time in the hot tub and sauna. Would highly recommend for couples or small families. ;-)

Great place to stay

Such a cute cabin! We loved the hot tub and lots of areas to sled/play in the snow for the kids. So many amenities included, and very eco-friendly as well! Owners were very communicative and helpful. Overall a wonderful experience for our little family getaway to the snow.

Very comfortable, the wood burning stove worked quickly and efficiently. The kitchen and coffee making area was well stocked, the beds and bedding was very comfortable and there are many windows so we could look out and enjoy the winter wonderland outside.

Beautiful clean cabin in the woods

This cabin was so comfortable and clean, not to mention very stylish! It had everything we could possibly need. The hosts left us a bottle of wine and smores supplies, which the kids loved. I hope to stay in this lovely cabin again.

Charming Cabin!

Stayed 2 nights with my adult son. Great family cabin, fantastic kitchen, fun decor and art, and the hot tub was a fabulous treat after each day on the snow at Bear! Loved it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The best cabin!

I was searching for a place with a hot tub in the trees. This cabin was that and more! There was also a plunge pool and a sauna! Close to big trees state park, and the sno park! We all had a blast with the right amount of relaxation as well. I can’t say enough positive things about our stay! So very grateful!

Pros:-clean, comfortable bed, creative and artsy decor, nice game options, good location, well appointed kitchen with good appliances Cons:- record player didn’t work- Very small- no way 7 people could comfortably use space (fish eye lens photos make the place appear larger and fancier than it is)- Sauna and hot tub were maxed out at temperatures not nearly hot enough at104 for the hot tub and 140 for the sauna. After preheating the sauna for an hour, it took another hour of sitting in it before I just broke a sweat.- Not really a good value
