The house is very nice and comfortable cabin . The location is very good. This was a great place to sleep and eat while we went off to many outdoor adventures in the area. The summer amenities at the lake included in the hoa weren't available; You can enjoy the lake, but not rent the boats until after father's day.
Great experience. We loved the cabin. It was clean, great location, well priced... we will be visiting again for sure! Two things to be aware of.... bring your own spices and there are no cookie sheets.
Cabin was very clean and nicely cared for. Really appreciated that the kitchen was well stocked with cooking basics. Hosts were super communicative. Beds were very comfy, will stay again!
Comfortable, well-appointed, great access to lake!
My family and I had such a nice time at the house and lake! Kristina was incredibly responsive and we felt really comfy and at home. The a/c was very much appreciated with the summer heat!
The property manager was very responsive and accommodating to our needs. The house was very clean, beds comfortable and we enjoyed hanging out on the deck in the evenings. We had a great time swimming and paddleboarding at Lakemont Pines, which is very close, as well other lakes in the area. Would stay here again!
This is our second time at Kristina’s property and hopefully not the last! Everything was as amazing as the first time plus the added bonus of the new AC!
Thank you again for making our stays in Arnold so comfortable!
This cabin has everything you need for a fun trip to arnold. My family and I had a great weekend enjoying the private lake and all that it has to offer. The cabin is just as described, well stocked and nicely furnished. Lots of little details throughout that make you feel welcome. Thank you for the hospitality!
We stayed for a long weekend and had a lovely time. The house is well stocked with everything you need to cook, clean and relax. It could use some books, puzzles or games though! We looked all around and couldn't find any. The location is great - we spent time in Calaveras Big Trees, in Murphys and the surrounding area and of course, the lake! Would definitely stay again!
Cabin was nice. Very secure feeling and comfortable. Air conditioning a blessing. The parking was mildly challenging. Loved the rocking chairs on the porch. The lake was lovely.
This house has everything you’ll need for a perfect family get away to the lake. Within a 2 minute drive from a private lake in Lakemont Pines HOA the house sits on a steep hill overlooking beautiful trees. The kitchen is well equipped with pots and pans which are in great condition (which is not usually the case with rental properties...so a major plus!).
Communication with the owners was effortless, all instructions are communicated timely and clearly. Linens and towels were very fresh and the house was spotlessly cleaned.
Overall, a wonderful stay and we would definitely like to rent this property again.
The house is very nice and obviously well-maintained. Kitchen, bathroom, and laundry supplies are well-stocked. Everything is clean. The beds are very comfortable. When we first arrived we couldn't turn on the air conditioner (controlled by a Nest unit), but a phone call to Eric solved the problem. He was very helpful. He remotely set and turned on the air conditioner. There were two things we didn't like. We felt we were misled about the road noise from Highway 4. The owners state there is "some traffic noise", but if you close the windows you do not hear the traffic noise from inside the house. That's simply not true. We were awakened every morning by the traffic noise, even with the windows closed. The other issue we have is with the driveway. It is steep and curved and you need to pass it and turn around in order to enter it at a good angle. There are 3 separate parking spaces, but there is no room to turn around at the top. We were glad we were driving an SUV, but we still were very uncomfortable with the driveway. So much so that if we had known about it we would not have stayed there. There was nothing about the driveway in the property listing. The day before arrival Kristina told us the driveway was sloped. It was more than sloped. By then it was too late to do anything about it anyway.
Enjoyed a relaxing summer vacation at the Lakemont Cabin. Appreciated Kristina’s tip to drive past the steep driveway, turn around at end of road to drive up from that direction.Always a good idea to arrive during daylight to more easily locate the property. Address is posted on the tree at end of driveway. Using the code to enter was easy and seamless. Use of the lake (Lakemont) is a delightful benefit. Be sure parking pass is visible on your dashboard, and keep the “tag” with you at your “beach campsite”. The friendly and professional staff will come by to ask for the tag. AC, WiFi, ceiling fans, bathrooms, kitchen, refrigerator, washer, dryer, and dish washer were all clean and in working order. Comfortable, well-appointed, and obviously a house that is loved by family who enjoys the area. Appreciated the shoe rack outside front door and the clothesline on porch - handy for drying towels and swimsuits! We often come up to Arnold area and would love to stay here again. We don’t feel this is a house for young children or adults with limited mobility - due to steep driveway, uneven terrain, and stairs. However, for our family (all adults) on this trip, the Lakemont Cabin was a delight!
First of all, I would like to say thank you to Kristina for her hospitality and for the complementary local wine!
The cabin is spacious enough for 6 people, I especially loved the open space (kitchen, dining area and family room). The house is sparkly clean, well organized (which I appreciate very much) and NOT overloaded with decorations and other things.
It has everything you will need for the nice comfortable vocation! And the Lake Mont Pines is the gorgeous lake, lots of FUN! We will be happy to stay here again.
We felt so at home here! The cabin was clean, quiet and comfortable. Perfect for our family of 4 with an 11 and 2 year old! It was close to the lake and close to Calaveras Big Trees where we wanted to visit. Had a fully stocked kitchen and gas grill outside. The front porch was perfect for enjoying morning coffee! It was pretty warm inside the cabin during the hottest part of the day. During our stay it was 89-85 degrees outside and we followed the instructions per the owner about opening the windows
We had a great time in the snow and on the beach. The weather was warm enough that we got to enjoy the community lake. The house was perfect for our family of 5. The house had everything we needed.
