Runaway Beach Club Resort is a very popular friendly family resort located in the center of Central Florida's tourist area.

Whether you are travelling sola or with a couple of friends, a family or retirees looking to spend time away from the cold of the north, this vacation home is your home away from home!

The Resort and this condo offer a luxury experience at a budget friendly price! Runaway Beach has been designed to be family friendly and is perfectly located right in the center of Florida's tourist area, yet tucked away in a quiet little corner away from the hustle and bustle of traffic without losing easy access to great shopping, dining and highways. This vacation home is only 3 miles from Walt Disney World Resort. Tropically landscaped, this gated community consists of charming two-story pastel Key West-style villas surrounding a central fountained lagoon. Guests may stroll or jog along the scenic waterside path. Two heated pools provide swimming and sunning options for the whole family --- a South Beach themed adult pool plus a fun, colorful child-friendly pool with water features and zero-depth entry. A hot tub, located adjacent to the pools, provides a romantic setting for couples. Accented by gracious palm trees, the extensive deck area surrounds both pools and overlooks the beautifully landscaped lagoon. Plenty of comfortable lounge chairs and umbrella tables are provided throughout the deck area.

Guests are also able to enjoy additional amenities across the street. There are 3 more landscaped swimming pools (one with a really fun slide), a tiki bar, mini-golf, and a splash pad for the kids.

The resort’s clubhouse contains a modern fitness center (open 8-4). Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire complex. There is NO additional Daily Resort Access Fee.

The condo is 3.5 miles from Disney World property, but since Disney World is quite large, the distance to drive anywhere depends on where you are going. As soon as you enter Disney World property, there are signs everywhere directing you. The closest parks to the condo are Epcot Center, which is 6.7 miles from the condo and Hollywood Studios, which is 6.8 miles. Magic Kingdom is 10.3 miles. Animal Kingdom is 7.9 miles. Downtown Disney is 4.9 miles. Seaworld is 7.5 miles. Universal Studios is 11.2 miles

This is a beautiful property with a great location, it was an easy drive to Disney. We really enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room, the beds were comfortable, and the outdoor space was a nice bonus. The only improvement would be to have a better supply of some essentials like Kleenex, coffee, salt and pepper.

Great place to stay!

We were in Orlando for volleyball nationals and this was a great place to stay. Plenty of space for our family of 4 with 2 17 year old girls. Super clean. The pool area was great. Location is close to Disney and about 20-30 minutes from the convention center with traffic. If we’re back for nationals next year, we’ll definitely look to stay here again.

Family Disney vacation

This was a great location to the Disney Worlds, within a 20 minute or less ride. Convenient location for shopping and restaurants. The property was well looked after. We enjoyed the pool areas. Our host was responsive when we reached out. I would stay again.

Beautiful apartment

Great location, close to major attractions, restaurants and outlets. The apartment is clean, comfortable, well equipped and has everything you need for your stay. The onsite facilities are lovely and I would definitely recommend this place.

Cute place, nice gated community and close to anything you need. The front desk for pool passes service was friendly. Nice to have all the amenities. It is a tight fit for a family of 4 but since we were out and about most of the time the space wasn’t that important to our stay. Much better than a hotel! The host was nice and responsive. The condo was very clean, check in/out instructions were very clear. The only negative is that you can hear anyone upstairs walking at anytime and the door for upstairs is right at the bedroom and it closes hard.

Great property, finished to a high standard as per photos. Plenty of space, living room, bedrooms, kitchen area, 2 bathrooms. Close to everything

We had an excellent stay at this vrbo. The apartment/ condo was more than adequate for what we needed and plenty spacious. The only thing I would caution about is they have strict/ strange (to me) rules, but if you're good with that than it's an excellent place to stay.

In order to protect the condo from damage by irresponsible guests, and rent within the guidelines given by Resort HOA, all vacation rentals do insist on guests abiding by simple rules, such as bagging and disposing of trash in HOA allocated compactors, wiping up spills immediately, no smoking within the unit, no pets policy, and so forth. If there is a rule you think in unnecessary, please do notify me so we can have a rethink of it and possibly change if needed. A fantastic stay at a lovely property!

We had a fantastic 12 nights at this very well appointed condo, with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped and there was lots of space for the four of us, with two bathrooms/showers and two large bedrooms. The outside space was perfect for an evening drink too. Excellent location close to the parks and the pool area was fab. Bonus that you can use the pool in the holiday inn across the road and they serve amazing cocktails too! Thank you so much, we would 100% recommend this property

Modern, clean and convenient

We enjoyed out stay at this modern and updated condo. Check in and check out were smooth and easy. It is a convenient location to Disney. There is a Walmart a couple of blocks away. Food, gas and other shopping are also nearby. There was no ice maker in the refrigerator which was disappointing. I would also suggest lowering the restrictions on the thermostat. Overall the condo was nice and the beds were comfortable. We would stay here again.

A great place to stay at a great price

My family and I can't recommend this place enough! Overall we really loved this place and wish we could have stayed for another week. We stayed for a total of 3 weeks and had a great time. The pool area was wonderful for the kids, and the location was perfect at only 10-15 minutes to Disney parking lots. They provided beach chairs and a lot of other nice little items that created a very pleasant stay for my family. My only complaint, and this is not the fault of the host, is that you can hear everything that goes on above you. Most of the time there were no issues. If your neighbors are respectful you should be good. We would not hesitate to book again, my wife is already trying convince me to book it again for next January.

Nice place

We enjoyed our stay at this condo. The furnishings were nice and the kitchen was well stocked. It is in a great location for what we were visiting for. The pool area was great and not busy during our stay. For cons there is no insulation from the 2nd floor and the neighbors were quite rowdy especially early in the morning. We were given the wrong gate code which was frustrating but the front desk for Calypso Cay was able to help. We did try to reach out to the owner both by phone and email. The phone number listed in the confirmation email is not correct nor did I receive any response to my email. All in all we would likely recommend this property to friends and family.

Hello, I appreciate you choosing my vacation home. If you had called my mobile number you would have received an immediate reply. The desk staff from the club house called my mobile number and of course I picked up. When one is driving or in a meeting, it is impossible to respond to VRBO messages, but as I point out in my advance messages to all guests, texts to mobile phones can be responded to quickly. This is a family friendly resort so some noise by neighbors coming and going is to be expected, just as your arriving and departing would create some noise for others. Iam glad you enjoyed your stay.

2 Bedroom Condo Close to Disney

I recently stayed at this condo and found it to be spotless and well-maintained. As mentioned in the description, minimal toiletries are provided, so you may need to keep this in mind when packing. Additionally, there are no pool towels available in the condo, so it's something to consider if you plan to use the pool.One downside is that the walls are very thin. I could hear full conversations through the shared wall with the condo next door, and in the morning, it sounded like a herd of elephants walking around upstairs. I don't think this was due to a family with young kids; it seemed to be because of the thin walls that are obviously not well soundproofed.Other than that, the condo is very clean and near restaurants and other activities in the area. A great place at this price point!
