Modern private home central location to beautiful coastal views

Steuben, Maine is a small fishing village located east of Gouldsboro on Coastal US Route 1 at the beginning of Washington County in what is referred to as Downeast Maine. Come explore our beautiful coastal towns while staying in our modern custom built home. We are located on Route 1 between Parritt's Auto Body and the Steuben Fire House. We are approximately 45 minutes from Bar Harbor depending on traffic and approx 30 minutes East of Ellsworth. The standard estimate given by this website is "as the crow flies". So please be aware that we are further away than 20 minutes.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please message or text upon check-out. Leave bedding on bed and unmade. Don't ball up. Wash towels, put in dryer and turn on before check out. Dishes must be clean, dry and put away.
All trash, opened food or beverages, should be disposed of in the trash bin under back porch and secure the cover. Turn off all lights. Close and lock all windows and doors. Log out of smart TV.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Dishes put away, clean and dry, use cutting board. No shoes on living room rug. Turn off fireplace or use as accent only. House has centralized AC.
Smart TV has free channels by hitting Home button. Feel free to use your favorite streaming device and personal password and remember to log out.
Do not move the furniture, beds or any other fixtures. Do not put any food particles or grease of any kind, down the sink drains.

Had everything we needed. Grandson and his wife and boy stayed one night and our daughter spent one night so we got to spend time with family on our short trip to Maine.

Amazing first impressions

For my family's first trip to Maine, this property was a wonderful first impression of the area. The property was immaculately clean and well-stocked. We were there during a heat wave and the AC worked great! Also, we arrived late at night and the property was very easy to find because it is well lit on a dark road. We are planning to return next year and will book this property again!

Great Location!

Brand new construction, absolutely great central “Downeast” location to day trip from to both Bar Harbor and points North such as Jasper Beach, Campobello etc., road noise is a bit much if not used to it and kitchen could use a a few more tools to make cooking easier but all in all a nice place!

I grew up and still reside in the next town over, Milbridge. I have traveled to many places but none as beautiful as this part of Maine. We can't think of a more central, quaint location for you to stay and enjoy the bold coast of Maine.

We built this home with our guests in mind. We wanted something clean and modern with all the comforts of home while you enjoy our small town living. All new furnishing, bedding, linens, appliances and the best part, this home offers both heating and cooling.

What makes this property unique

Please check out Gateway Milbridge FB page. They will be offering free live, outdoor concerts on Friday nights starting in July. They are located at the town marina right on the water. You can't beat free live music and beautiful views!
