This traditional 3 bedroom house is a great base for exploring the nearby Schoodic peninsula part of Acadia National Park and the small fishing villages of Winter Harbor, Prospect Harbor, Corea, etc. It is very quiet in October without the crowds of MDI. There’s a handy grocery store, cafes, and restaurants in walking distance. The house is very clean with updated appliances and two full bathrooms.
The cottage was a great home base for our explorations in Winter Harbor and the surrounding area. Great kitchen for cooking, comfortable living room, dining room and bedrooms too. It is very walkable in town and there are restaurants a 5 minute walk away. The backyard and bikes were certainly a plus and we would definitely stay here again. Also, we really appreciated the generous supply of local information and maps provided by our considerate host.
Our family absolutely loved our stay in Winter Harbor. The house was close to beautiful sites and fun activities and I'm not sure we've stayed in a better appointed house. Would absolutely return again and again.
This is our third stay at this property and we are so spoiled. This property has location, and amenities galore! It is stocked well with suggestions and guides to the area as well as all of the little things you might need (but forgot). Can’t say enough good things about our hosts and Winter Harbor and look forward to our next stay!
This is a wonderful little house just steps from Winter Harbor. The location was perfect for exploring the area and coming back to relax and watch the water. We would definitely book this house again in the future.

Wonderful little house. Perfect for our family. Had everything we needed and more. Loved the little town and close proximity to Acadia on the peninsula side. Our family enjoyed being away from the crowd at Bar Harbor, yet close to local restaurants and shops.

The house was comfortable, clean and well appointed, located in a quiet neighborhood. Close to Acadia National Park as we made several drives to Bar Harbor (about an hour drive), as well as visits to Schoodic Peninsula. Picked up groceries at Hannaford in Ellsworth on our way to/from Bar Harbor. Enjoyed local dinner at Chase's, and Musquito Harbor Brewing Co.
House was everything we could have possibly wanted and needed. Above and beyond any we've stayed in. Kitchen very well appointed. Beds comfortable. Water pressure excellent. Tons of local/ down east books, maps, etc. Walk to grocery and restaurants. Outdoor space good for throwing the football, chillin by the fire, stargazing. 10****
The house was very comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen and outdoor grill. The area was quiet and the view of the water was amazing. There were deer in the yard one morning. We would love to stay there again.
We were delighted with this sweet home...very well updated while keeping the old charm. It was beyond perfectly stocked...kitchen utensils, games, bikes and so much more. The area is wonderful for adventures!!
We loved our stay! The home was lovely and very clean. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. The hosts were very nice and answered any questions we had. There were also great views of the harbor! Would highly recommend this vacation rental!

Very relaxing stay in Winter Harbor, Maine. House was clean, neat and had every possible item we would need or want.....incredibly well stocked, both inside and outside (e.g. bicycles, games, lawn chairs)! Host was very responsive and helpful when we had questions. I would highly recommend this house and these hosts if planning a vacation in this area.

This property was perfect for our family. Cute and clean with everything we needed for a lovely stay. Beautiful view from the front yard. I cannot think of a negative thing to say about it. In fact, we are going to book again for this coming summer!
The house was charming, well appointed with everything we could want. Nice appliances, updated bathrooms and great location. One of the best places we’ve rented. Schoodic peninsula has lots of close hikes and views of sunrise and sunset. Loved the vibe and friendliness of the town. Would love to come back!

This was our second stay at this lovely home and it did not disappoint! We love the quiet side of Acadia and Sharon’s home is perfect for our family of 3! Clean and well appointed, walking distance to the cove, restaurants, grocery & the beloved five and dime! Owner provided lots of info about the area and was quick to respond to questions. Laundry onsite was great and kitchen had all we needed. We hope to stay again soon!
Loved the location of the house. Was on the quiet side of Acadia but we love to hike and sit and watch the waves at Schoodic Point. We took the ferry to Bar Harbor and had a great time. Took our morning walks around town. The house was comfortable and new bathrooms nice. Would rent here again.
