Cozy Pinecrest-Dodge Ridge Area Summer/Winter Fun Resort with King-Size Bed!

Retreat to an exclusive resort in Leland Meadow, a private association with members only recreation facilities. This is your headquarters for HIGH SIERRA FUN with all the conveniences of home! SUMMER: Access the members only clubhouse, tennis courts, pickle ball, and more. Take a short drive to Beardsley or Pinecrest Lakes. WINTER: On-site professionally managed snow play resort at Leland Snowplay or take the short drive to Dodge Ridge or Pinecrest. A comfortable and tastefully decorated town home with amazing views of the lake and mountains from the deck just outside the kitchen. Enjoy the landscape vista in the daytime and stargaze at night, away from the interruption of city lights and sounds. The full kitchen features both indoor and outdoor dining, as well as your own BBQ grill. The three bedrooms are cozy, quiet, and peaceful. The bathrooms include a tub and a shower. In the winter, sit back in warmth and comfort and watch the fire burn in the wood stove in the living room. Sip on a warm drink on the spacious couch. Step right out the door and enjoy winter fun at Leland High Sierra Snowplay. Pinecrest Lake and Dodge Ridge Ski Resort are approximately a fifteen minute drive from the home, through the scenic forest.
Guest access
Guests will have the entire town home to enjoy by themselves. In addition, all the amenities of the recreation center are included in the cost of the booking. Guests must bring their own tennis and pickle ball equipment.
Other things to note
In winter, please check road conditions prior to your trip. It is always advisable to carry snow chains in winter months.

Beautiful Location, Wonderful Accommodations!

We had a fantastic time during our visit! The unit exceeded our expectations, and our two boys and I had a great time on the paddle boards, playing ping-pong, and playing pool in the clubhouse. Relaxing on the balcony with a view of the lake was peaceful and beautiful.

Family vacation

My daughter came out from Virginia and we needed a quiet place away from the crowds to spend time with my son and his family. We ended up spending all of our time at Lake Leland. The condo was perfect for all of us and we couldn’t be more grateful.

I booked this cabin much in advance hoping to have a Leland snoplay day for our little ones. Well nature decided differently and there was no snow at the time of the stay lol.I mention this only to underline how nice our stay was in this location. Even though our original goal was changed we found plenty to do at surrounding attractions and had a great time. The biggest reason was the cabin. The kids had such a great time hanging out together and playing on the different levels. We had a nice cozy time and will definitely be visiting again in the future. 10/10

My family of 6 went and stayed for 2 nights and had a great time! From start to finish the process was very easy from booking, checking in, and communicating with the host. Our host Sheila gave very thorough instructions and replied to my messages in a quick, timely manner. The town home was very cozy, organized and gave our family enough space for privacy and our own time as the bottom level had its own entrance to the outside porch, set of stairs and a door to close off to the main living area. We loved the views from the decks and the kayaks, paddles boards etc available for our teenagers to use !

Wonderful stay

Stayed 2 nights. Sheila was a great host, quickly responsive to any questions we had. The information she provided was helpful and clear, including pictures, making the whole process easy and smooth. The space was also great. Clean, comfortable, and we loved the wood burning stove. My son loved tubing at the Snow Park which is on-site walking distance. We hope to be back for another visit in the future

Fun in the snow!

Stayed here with my husband and 2 kiddos (7yo and 4yo) and had a wonderful time. We skied at Dodgeridge which was very convenient as it was about a 20min drive door to door (with incoming ski traffic). We walked down to the snow park and were able to come and go as we pleased. As for the condo, it was exactly what we needed. Listing and pictures present an accurate view of the property. Beds were comfy, kitchen had what we needed. Communication was easy and all information needed was provided. Would definitely stay here again!

Long way up the stairs and parking area

Beautiful view from the living room porch. Larger bed is up 3 staircases and no bathroom up there. Made it awkward for us older adults. Home was equipped with everything we needed but glad there was only 5 of us or it would have been too crowded.

Thanks for your feedback, Sue. It would have been helpful if you had mentioned that you had some special needs, such as older adults. I'm very happy to explain the configuration of the house as many guests will often ask me before booking. I did mention that one car can be parked next to the unit with no stairs. If there was a second car that was parked below then you can still bring it up to the unit to pick up the older guests for day trips. I hope this helps explain things a bit.

Great Location to Pinecrest Lake and Beardsley Lake. The deck had awesome sunset views and the stars were amazing. Communication from Sheila was excellent. We were a little worried when we pulled up to the condo and saw 3 flights of stairs but then realized you can drive to the back of the condos where you can unload and park. Only complaint was the knifes were very dull and I would suggest adding a knife sharpener. We’ve been coming here for years and usually stay at Strawberry Lodge but for now on we’ll book Sheila’s place!

A quick off season trip

I was hoping to be celebrating my son getting his cast off but unfortunately he has 3 more weeks. We still came up and very much enjoyed our trip. It’s off season so it was very quiet at the resort. Close to Pinecrest lake and some other cute towns I remember visiting as a kid. Property manager was very helpful and clear about details on the location. Wifi was sticky but cute dvd selection available was perfect for us (Princess Bride for the win :) I hope to come back in the winter to enjoy the sledding and snow play area.

Leland Meadows

This property is uncrowded and quiet. It's not primarily a summer destination, but we used it a a base for hiking in the Pinecrest Lake area. This is not your typical overpriced,"Vacasa", type mountain condo which is usually dark and needs deep cleaning. It is freshly painted, bright and cheery. My granddaughter loved going up and down the spiral staircase. It was generously stocked with necessities and extras. Communication with the manager was simple, accurate and uncomplicated.

My only concern with the condo was that the sliding doors were unable to lock. It was a little uneasy to go to sleep at night knowing the sliding doors were not able to lock.
