You'll love The Island House with outdoor hot tub & game room with pool table. The ocean with beach access is less than 3 blocks away. Imagine you & your family walking to the beach past the park where children are playing in the splash pad or climbing on the monkey bars, playing basketball or tennis. The free outdoor concerts located at Middleton Park in the summer are all within 5 minutes walking distance. In fact, the grocery store, restaurants and bars are also within walking distance. The kitchen is absolutely beautiful after a recent remodel and fully stocked with dishes, pots and pans, too.

You'll love the colors throughout the home because they're so happy and cheerful. You can sit on the covered porches out back or in the front as you watch the sunrise or sun set on the beautiful Oak Island.

Smile - ADT Security cameras are located outside of the home around the property including hot tub.

Property Manager lives in a tiny house behind main house but does not share any part of main house.

Latane was a very welcoming , friendly & helpful host. The IH is close to restaurants, 49th St beach access & neighborhood is quiet—great for walking, biking & running. For those not keen on those activities, Latane has a very nice golf cart for rent—perfect for exploring Oak Island. Would stay here again! Thank you!

Beautiful Island Home

This is the home to stay in on Oak Island! It is beautitful, modern and spacious. It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beach. Latine is the perfect host, she knows the area well and is available to help in any way. We would definitely stay there again.

Great Stay

We had a great time staying at the Island House. It is the perfect location near the main street in Oak Island and near everything you need. The property is cute and clean. Latane was a great host. I would definitely stay again.

Great place and loved the king size bed in master. Hot tub was nice at nice. The front porch was great to seat and drink coffee in the morning. Close to everything down in Oak Island. Great color schemes inside. Owner was available for anything we needed.

Great place to stay!

We loved the house {and the pool table). It's walking distance to Publix, restaurants and the beach. The beach is about a 10 minute walk so bring your beach wagon. Parking at the beach is limited during peak times. We really enjoyed ourselves and the host is a very good person!

The place is great! Everything is so much better than the pictures online. My wife said I did good when I picked this one. The host was very friendly and was really helpful with all questions. I give this place 10 stars. My friend's and family will definitely be returning.

Excellent Option for 5-6 people

The Island House is an excellent choice for 5-6 people. We were a party of 5 and we were very comfortable. The house is very clean and has available pretty much anything you'd need. As perfect as the House is the owner was exceptionally kind and accommodating. We are so thankful for her hospitality, and will definitely return to the Island House for our next beach trip!

Great house and location

The house is great for my family stay. Very convenient location in walking distance to the beach, grocery store, ice cream shop and restaurant. The house is comfortable and we had fun with the pool table. The outdoor shower was great to wash off the beach sand. The only downfall was the hot tub was not warm enough. You might inquire about that if that's a must for your stay. Thank you for the great beach weekend!

Beautiful Property

We came for a work trip just needing a place to stay. Extremely Clean. Nice short walk to the Beach after work. Latane is awesome, always making sure our stay was a pleasant as needed to be. I’ll def. Look this property back up for future Stays

I brought my son's for a little get away. They are always working to help take care of me and their siblings since my husband died two years ago. I wanted to treat them to a little get away. Such an amazing house. We had so much fun. The owner is such a an amazing person. Thank you so much.

Location is great. 8 - 10 min walk to the beach.

Property is the right size for a small family. The pool table is nice but would probably be better if there is a TV in the room. The cabinets need to move a little to provide some more room when playing pool. The kitchen is stocked with a nice welcome of fresh fruits.

Amazing place to stay

This house was awesome! And looked even better in person. The house was clean, comfortable, fun. We thoroughly enjoyed the house and the pool table, beds were comfortable. The beach is only a short walk from the house! The area was great and was very close to stores and food. Our host Latane was amazing! Very communicative, friendly, and helpful. Will definitely come back and stay here again!! 🙂

Island Dream

We wanted a house for our 2 boys (8 and 14) that was close to the beach and this was perfect! We were 2 minutes driving (10 minute walk) to the beach. We got to the house and my husband walked to a BBQ restaurant to pick up dinner, and then we all walked down to get ice cream for dessert. The house was beautiful and clean, and Latane was so sweet! Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Great Weekend Get-Away

The Island House was a perfect place for our weekend getaway to cheer on our friend during the OKI Marathon especially with the close proximity to Middleton Park. Latane was an exceptional host and was very responsive to our text/questions over the weekend. The house was spotless and well equipped (missed the Keurig - but the coffee pot did just fine!). The pool table was a hit of the weekend. Would definitely stay again, especially when the 3rd bedroom is available.

This property was originally a honey bee farm that produced local honey for the community. Upon purchasing the property the bee shack was recently converted to a tiny home which is appropriately named, The Bee Hive and is owner occupied.
