We loved our stay here. Clean, bright, airy, cozy home feeling. Minutes from the beach an ocean. Quiet neighborhood. Ocean breezes, Comfy beds, the home was well stocked, organized, nice layout, rooms as well as the whole house its beautifully decorated, you truly feel like you are home. Kitchen is very well supplied, Hosts have anything you need for a day at the beach in the garage. Excellent communication with hosts. Didnt want to leave! We will definitely be back.

The kitchen met all our needs. Very comfortable beds. Nice location to the beach. Recommend clarifying for people the rental has alot of steps. Some older folks may have trouble with steps. Very much enjoyed our stay.

Great location and nice property

We picked this property for its location, close to a venue that hosted a wedding we came into town to attend. My wife, my two adult daughters and a son-in-law were all very comfortable staying in this house. Close to the beach and shopping. Would stay here again if back in San Clemente with the family.

Everything was great. Size of rooms, laundry, towels, paper goods, soaps, & kitchen well stocked & organized. We enjoyed & used the beach toys. The location was perfect for our needs. Would definitely recommend a stay at the beach cottage. Good value.

Great house

We were in town for a long weekend and this house was great for our family. It had everything we needed (a few more towels would have been nice but we managed just fine). The use of beach towels, chairs and toys were great. It’s a walk close to the beach.

Ohana Fun

Totall awesome property and location. I walked to coffee early am one morning via the beach. We really enjoyed oir stay. Close to restaurants, bars, shops. Really convenient for oir time at Ohana Fest. Thanks a ton!

Wonderful & Comfortable Stay

We were in San Clemente for our nephew's wedding. The property was lovely and had a comfortable living area for us to sit together and chat in between wedding festivities. When we were needing an iron & ironing board, the neighbor brought over hers. (It just so happens the neighbor manages this property, which was great for us. She was incredibly helpful.) You could walk to the beach and stop by a coffee shop on the way.

Impressed

Place was immaculately clean. The bedding and mattresses were of excellent quality. Up to date with electronic needs, I phone friendly. Kitchen well stocked- recommended a microwave. And backyard would have been great if they had patio chairs and bbq at ground level as had to move wooden steps to go up to BBQ. People should know that there are two flights of stairs of knee problems. But overall excellent location- close to beach and restaurants. Highly recommend!!

We have to keep the BBQ a certain distance from the home for insurance purposes but we installed new stairs. Surfside Cottage

The house is beautifully decorated, just as pictured on VRBO website. The beds and bedding were comfortable. There was abundant linens and towels. In fact, the house had everyting we needed with the exception of an iron and ironing board, and the landlord brought those over for our use within minutes of our inquiry. The kitchen was well stocked, including a few staples and spices. Games, beach towels, beach chairs, toys and even books for a toddler were at our disposal. We were very impressed with all that was available. Our only concern was the upholstered furniture. It was badly stained (particularly the dining chairs) and in need of cleaning or replacing. Washable slip covers might be a good idea for a rental unit such as this, and would certainly fit the decor.

Biggest problem was lack of essential supplies. Little or no tissues, hand soap gel, paper towels, or dishwasher tabs. And no kitchen towels at all. In addition, there was not a light over the sink in the master bathroom, which made it difficult to do anything that required light.
