The host is fabulous! The suite is wonderful, well equipped, so very peaceful and the location is great. We could not have asked for a more perfect weekend!Thank you for a great experience!Kevin
Beautiful location, especially for a fall trip. The nearby stream and the colorful leaves surround the house. The house was well kept and clean, with complementary coffee and beer.
The place itself is a gem— the location couldn't be better. We truly enjoyed our time there. The owners were wonderful, so kind and accommodating. They gave us some of the best recommendations for local restaurants and activities, which really made our trip special. Overall, we had a lovely experience and would definitely recommend it to others.
Enjoyed peaceful evening showers on porch after long days at Grandfather Mtn Highland Games.

Thanks for the review!! So glad you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again!!
Nice place has a quite cute cabin feel.
Wish I would have spent more time by the creek. Ask where it is and you will be comfortable. If you are looking for a real get-a-way this is it. Truely remote but with the conforts of home. Only neutral comment would be the shower water press was just mild, now for a man like me it was just fine but I know some others might be wanting/expecting more of blast from the shower head.

The mattress was not comfortable at all as it sagged in the middle and made it very difficult to roll over and to get out of the bed, needs to be replaced. The bedroom had dead bugs and dust behind the overstuffed chair and the lamp stand. The sound from the upstairs unit could be heard and the dog walking across the floor was heard.
The rest of the unit was clean and comfy although we primarily used the bedroom to sleep and then travel to visit my son who lives nearby.
