Our family had a very nice stay at this house. We had plenty of room for everyone (8 people), and the kitchen was nice to cook a few meals in during our trip. The location is nice and quiet, and close enough to walk to many places downtown. Would definitely consider starting here again!

We reaĺly enjoyed our stay. The house was great and set up with everything we needed. Very roomy and the washing machine and dryer was so helpful. The host was great to deal with. The house was even better than we thought it would be.

We stayed at this lovely 1940s two-story home for a couple of days in Anchorage before starting our land tour vacation, and it was the absolute perfect decision.Bootlegger Cove is a perfect location. It was quiet and peaceful, yet so convenient that we were easily able to take a scenic walk to Earthquake Park and head downtown to enjoy the restaurants.The house itself is charming, comfortable, and clean. To top it off, our host, Bob, was incredibly nice and quick to respond whenever we needed anything.A wonderful kickoff to our Alaska trip! We would highly recommend this cozy home to anyone visiting Anchorage.

Great location- easy walking distance to almost everything. House is pretty outdated, with squeaky floors, beds, etc. Would be helpful to provide shampoo and soap. Very few outlets; need some extra plug-ins. House smelled a little musty- might want to do some plug-ins and provide extra fans since there is no air conditioning. However, the weather was nice, so we slept with windows open.

Our stay at this property was wonderful. It is so convenient to downtown. The house is an older home but it is comfortable and welcoming. Our host, Bob, was so friendly and helpful. The two bedrooms upstairs were very clean and the beds were comfortable. The bedrooms downstairs were a bit cold but a heater helped to warm things up. There is a laundry room that was unfinished and cold but the washer and dryer worked well. I would highly recommend this wonderful home to anyone visiting the Anchorage area.

Stayed here with a group of 5 friends. Fun, quirky place. Plenty of beds & bedrooms. Recommend downstairs bedrooms as the sun sets quite late and some light does get in.

An updated home with 1,920 sq ft., a modern kitchen and full baths, 4 bedrooms, each with a queen bed, plus a 5th (semi-private) bedroom with a double bed, and a family room with a sleeper sofa. Perfect for larger groups or families needing separate spaces. Backyard with a beautiful garden (in summer). New bedding, towels, shower curtains, blankets, housewares, and kitchen items. Decorated with a touch of The Last Frontier and reminiscent of Anchorage's tent city and gold rush era.
