Great location between the airport and downtown restaurants and activities. We took the Alaska Railway to Seward for a cruise. Uber had us there in 10 minutes.
It was still being cleaned when we arrived after 4 but when we were finally able to settle in it had all the amenities needed. It was a comfortable stay after a lengthy flight.
Host was very communicative with any issues and rules for the property. Place was clean, spacious, and well suited for our family group of 5. A much better alternative than getting two separate hotel rooms.
This was a wonderful stay for 2 couples. The layout was perfect; we each had our own side for privacy. It was a great bonus to have the washer and dryer. The kitchen had adequate dishes. We wanted a toaster, so bought an inexpensive one and left it there. We appreciated being able to sign in to our streaming services. Overall, just about everything was perfect and we’d definitely stay there again.
This property is in a good location for major roads. Spacious. Pretty lawn. Bring your own bar soap. We also had problems with the coffee maker. There is a lot of traffic noise but that is hard to get away from in Anchorage.
Property was very clean and spacious - felt homey and comfortable. It worked great for our family and we would recommend. There is t much to do in the neighborhood, but it’s a pretty short ride to the downtown area.
The host was great, even came and shoveled the front and back stairs for us after it snowed. And this location is great for Iditarod. It was only 1 block away from the race route.
Great property although we did see some homeless walking around the neighborhood looking in cars. they kept to themselves and this isn’t anything the owner can control the facility is nice and the housing is excellent. Me and my family will be staying here again. The host is very good with communication and making sure you need what you need to make your stay as nice as possible! Thank you!
The rooms were good size and bathrooms were clean and had everything we needed. We did have some issues with the kitchen. It had a nice gas stove but an over active smoke detector that went off all the time when we were cooking. We put a fan in there and it stopped the problem. Also we were really wishing there had been a toaster. The coffee and teapot were great. They do need some new pots and pans and an air fryer that works (theirs did not) Large washer and dryer were very useful
We had a great stay at Wildflower Cottage!! We enjoyed the comfortable beds, clean environment and easy-to-get-to location. We had an initial issue with the toilet in the guest bathroom, but communication with Elizabeth was fabulous over that. We ended up being able to handle the plumbing issue on our own.
Safe neighborhood. The house is away from downtown so plan on transportation. Nice patio in the front and back of the house to sit. Overall is a nice place to stay in Anchorage.
