About the host
Hosted by Jenny Armstrong
We are Rich and Jenny Armstrong and this is our summer residence. We plan to be camping and are willing to rent it to people who will lovingly take care of our home. Our other residence is in Texas, but are native to this area. Some of our things will be in the cottage, this is not a typical rental, its our summer home!
Why they chose this property
You will absolutely fall in love with Burt Lake! It's quiet but yet close enough to Petoskey, Harbor Springs and Mackinaw Island for great day trips. We have good wineries, breweries & shopping nearby as well as great restaurants. The lake is clear and warm with a sandy ( a little mucky) bottom. We have even seen the northern lights right from our front door!
What makes this property unique
We have a portable generator if by chance you lose power (unlikely). We will be within a few hours drive if needed. Lawn will be maintained. This rental period is PRIME TIME! We want a one week minimum for renting. Anytime during the first 14 days of July.
