We love this house- we have rented it several years in a row for February ski week and it's perfect. Close to several mountains and has everything you need.
Jackson is one of our favorite places to visit in NH to hike and ski. Our stay could not have been any better. The house is beautiful, in a great location and spotless! Chris was available to answer any questions in a very timely manner.
We can't wait to go back!
A beautiful and cozy place to relax after a day of hiking, with a modern kitchen and an outdoor space with a view of the mountains.
Very responsive host!
Looking forward to next time already!!
We booked the property for a family ski weekend after Christmas. The house is beautiful and well furnished. We had everything we needed. A cup of coffee and the clear view of Mt. Washington on Sunday morning was the perfect end to the weekend. Chris was available for any questions we had and was very responsive. Would absolutely stay again.
The home is beautiful…spacious, well lit and full of everything one could want…kitchen utensils, extra towels, toys….
The hosts answer emails immediately and are incredibly accommodating. I need to give an extra shout out to the beds…. So comfortable
We are very fond of Jackson and the surrounding area, especially Mount Washington and all it has to offer. Communication with Chris was spot on and very thorough. The house is amazing and was exactly as advertised. Although it was a rainy weekend, we did manage to get out and enjoy the area. Would definitely look to stay in the house again if the opportunity arises.
We booked a home in Jackson with great views of Mount Washington. Chris the host was outstanding providing details needed before and during our stay. The house was a great fit for our size - 6 adults. Everything in the house was clean, new and well maintained. The only word of caution that is not any reflection on the host is you need a 4 wheel drive vehicle as the house is in Jackson NH and it snows. We were able to enjoy our days skiing at Black Mountain and found some great restaurants not too far from the property. We would definitely stay here again.
The host, Chris, was solid. Attentive to detail. We had a 3 and 1 year old with us and there was wall plugs throughout. The house was immaculate with a great size kitchen.
Chris provide a booklet for any questions that might have come up during our stay. Already planning a return next year, if possible. 5 Stars all the way !!!
This house is clean, modern, and spacious with lots of thoughtful little touches all around. We stayed in winter and appreciated the large entry for wet boots, jackets and gloves. There is a covered nook to store skis with a convenient second entry. The basement provided hours of entertainment for the kids ranging from 5 to 12. The kitchen is large enough for a couple people to be working at the same time. The bedrooms are large with great closet space. We had clear, timely communication with the hosts and will definitely plan to return.

About the host
Hosted by Chris & Kara T.
Hello. We're Chris & Kara. We are life-long New Englanders that grew up near the beaches of Rhode Island and fell in love with the mountains of New Hampshire. We're proud parents of two young boys and enjoy the active lifestyle that the White Mountains provide.
Why they chose this property
Our family took a leap of faith and decided to pursue our dream of owning a second home in the town of Jackson and the White Mountains of New Hampshire. The dream consisted of creating special family memories in the area while helping others create their own. The house has given us the ability to regularly enjoy the area's natural beauty as well as the seemingly endless list of four-season activities including hiking, skiing, biking, snowshoeing, swimming, kid-friendly amusement parks and many peaceful moments away from the city. We have multi-generational connections to Jackson Village and are excited to provide you with all of the insight and advice to make your stay memorable. Thanks for your interest and for helping make our dream a reality.
What makes this property unique
Despite being 10 miles away, Mt. Washington feels right in the backyard (pictures don't do it justice). We absolutely love watching the view change based on the season, the time of day or even the weather. Our quaint road makes the property extremely peaceful and quiet, which is perfect as an escape from the bustle of daily life (and we'd love if you could help us keep it that way).
