Thinking about having a friend and family gathering on a holiday or a weekend in style? This Mid-century modern house will for sure meet that style requirement. It even has a jetted tub. It is also called a big house for a reason! The property’s 3800 sq.ft area will certainly meet the size requirement for a 10-15 people gathering. The kitchen will for sure have space for that dinner. Definitely make sure to plan a trip to Sandia Peak tramway, only 13 miles away, to make the trip more memorable.

The property features 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms spread out across 2 floors. The first floor includes the spacious master bedroom/ bathroom, cozy living room, spacious kitchen, half bathroom, and laundry room. The second floor has a loft room, three guest bedrooms (one has a work desk) and 2 full bathrooms. Outside has a fire pit and patio chairs.

Big house, good NW valley location in a cul de sac. Cleaning seemed to be minimal with random cobwebs everywhere. Heat not working first night, we froze and there were no extra blankets. Beds have one sheet and a thin blanket. Toilet plumbing issues occurred that weren’t resolved. Kitchen has bare basic amenities.

Ill Equipped

The house can sleep 10, but is ill equipped for even 5 adults. We have stayed at many VRBOs and this one just did not deliver. 1. The internet was spotty when it worked. With 5 adults, staying for 7 days, we expected our phones and computers to be able to connect to the internet. To be fair, the owner did get it fixed 3 days into our stay. However, the only way to contact him was through email which proved very difficult since we didn't have internet and the area is in a spotty location. 2. The towels were quite small and very thin. There was only one per guest. 3. The kitchen was poorly equipped in that it did not have a blender, colander, baking pan, enough plates, forks or knives, salt and pepper, oil, paper towels and only one dish towel. When cooking for a family of 5, we found that this was difficult to cook and clean. 4. The picture did not represent the yard is over grown and not manicured. There is a bush that covers the walkway from the driveway to the front door and buzzes with a swarm of some kind of insect. 5. The kitchen had ants, the bedroom/bath had bugs. 6. There was no cable tv, all of it was streaming services which did not work when the internet was down. 7. The couch sits on bricks. The living room furniture was uncomfortable. The house is in a good location and spacious. Unfortunately, we were not very comfortable due to the above reasons. I should also mention there is no grill. We will look elsewhere when we come to visit again.

Thank you for your feedback. We have addressed the landscape and pest issue. We have added bigger towels and added some more kitchen supplies in cabinets that are labeled so its easier to find. (Please note that we provider the basic kitchen supplies like pots pan dishes/silverware for 10. Blender is not provided) We have also addressed the broken legs on the sofa. Please note the house has a fire pit outside, not a grill.
