Loved this place. Great communication, easy access to check in and out, very clean, everything you needed was there. Peaceful and comfortable location. In the middle of summer heat it was very cool. The beds were all more comfortable than my bed at home. Good for families.
The farmhouse was great. Far enough out of town to enjoy peace and quiet. Close enough to every thing we needed. Deer in the field next door. Host and Hostess very friendly and extremely helpful. We couldn't have been more pleased. As stated, the best stay during our 13 day trip. We would definitely stay here again.
We had a wonderful time staying in Martha’s guesthouse. It was comfortable, well supplied, and quiet. It was perfect to come back to in the evenings to play games, and we enjoyed the country atmosphere that was close enough to town. Getting to milk a cow and feed a baby calf were just bonuses! Absolutely recommend it!
This is a nice famly owned home away from town which was nice! It was clean and friendly and has a nice family history! The home was the perfect size for our family of 6. The beds were comfortable and there was room for more. The home was decorated for Christmas and made us feel right at home! When we come back to Durango we would definitely rent here again.
We loved our stay here. Great kitchen to cook in and we played games at the dining room table. A great home to retreat to after visiting Durango. Martha is a gem of a host. We especially loved all the farm animals. Gracie and Vanilla stole my heart. A highlight was milking Crystal and bottle feeding the calves. Look forward to booking again.
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was clean, spacious, and very cute. We were in town for youth soccer and were at the field within 20 minutes of leaving the home. The area is lovely with sweeping vistas and mountain views. We will definitely look to stay here again the next time we're heading through Durango.
I travel to the property with three friends to go fly fishing in the area. The Farmhouse was very comfortable and suited our needs well. It is a vintage farmhouse that has a funky appeal to it. It would not be suitable for somebody who is looking for a more modern or upscale home . We found our communication with the owners to be easy and that they were concerned that we enjoy the experience of living on their farm. It was an additional benefit to know that we are helping people who are trying to continue living on a family farm when the surrounding property is being developed . The location was very peaceful and we enjoyed the rural vibe even though it was close to town we would enjoy staying there again when we travel in the area property and has a vintage feel to it.
First thing people need to understand, this is a working farm and is not in town so expect to hear animals when outside. We had a great 2 day stay at this property. My wife got to milk a cow and feed 2 baby calves. The hosts are extremely nice people. If you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city this is your place.
We loved this little gem! It was quiet, cozy, and very comfortable.
Martha was very responsive and helpful.
Check in was a breeze.
We got a tour of the Dairy farm and even got to help milk the cows.
We loved it!
This house is like stepping back into time into memaw's house. It has so much charm. We had everything we needed and the property is so peaceful. It is a working farm but we were never bothered by any activity on the farm. The house is far away from town enough to be out of the fray, but an easy trip to go into Durango. The hosts were so friendly. We had a great stay and would definitely return.
The house and location were fine. It was about six miles from Durango in ranch environment. First morning I am looking from the kitchen window and saw three deer grazing by the front yard. Very relaxing.
My family and I enjoyed our stay at the pink farmhouse. My husband liked that we were just outside of Durango. The accommodations were just as described and was just the right size for our family. We enjoyed Mesa Verde NP and a steam engine ride to Silverton. The town of Durango has many great restaurants too.
Thank-you!
What can I say? I booked it for the purple bathroom! And I wasn't disappointed. The views are incredible, the property is spacious and nicely updated, and getting nibbled on by a goat can't be beat. It's only 15 minutes from town and totally worth it for a quiet, peaceful stay. Martha was very kind and accommodating, especially when I had car trouble. Would definitely stay again!

Nice roomy comfy home. Just like a home away from home. We loved it.
We were expecting just a regular 3 bedroom house and instead it was like stepping back in time to a simpler time where families came first. Quaint farmhouse that told the story of the true American dream of immigration and building a new life. I would highly recommend if you want charm and farmland beauty.
We loved our stay at the little pink house on the farm! Everything was perfect, and our host was easy to communicate with, providing us everything we needed. The tour of the farm to see the cows getting milked was such fun! We will definitely be back next year!
We loved our stay at this farmhouse. It was very clean, comfortable and really did feel like home. The location was beautiful and peaceful. Martha and family were very welcoming and we loved getting to know them before we left. We will definitely stay again if ever in the area! We have already recommended to family!!
