Everything was warm and inviting. Plenty of room to relax. WIFI was great, and with the Roku TV setup it was nice to unwind at the end of the day. Quiet and a great place overall.

Anniversary get away

Other commitments kept us from staying longer, but if we could have, this would be the place. The rooms were very comfortable and we'll equipped. We certainly enjoyed the short time we here.

Perfect Place!!

We were in Asheville helping with disaster cleanup from Hurricane Helene and needed a place to crash. Found this awesome little cabin! The owner was quick to respond and very polite. This cabin was perfect for 5 of us! We enjoyed the quiet location, cozy beds, and hot shower! Overall we will loved it and will be visiting again. Hopefully for pleasure next time.

Clean and Happy Atmosphere

This is a cute little place to stay. The property and interior was very clean and the host was very accommodating. The drive to the house is a little intimidating but once you arrive it is worth it. Its relaxing and enjoyable and the town locals are very friendly. There is a lot to do!

Amazing stay at the top of the ridge

This was a lovely one night stay at the cabin. This is a sweet little home equipped with everything you might need. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. We enjoyed all the little extras provided by the host. She was amazingly communicative and helpful throughout our stay. My children had a wonderful time as well.

Such a great place to stay!!

I've almost never had such a beautiful experience in terms of hospitality, cleanliness and amenities. They have such a nice living space, kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen is full of amenities and there very clear instructions for check out as well. It sleeps 5 people and has a good view of you are up for a walk. The bathroom, of it had one we didnt find it, but could use an exhaust as it gets so steamy. The road to aproach is an interesting one. It maybe due to the Hurricane, but the main road was closed and we reached after dark and found out it was a dark road in the mountains eith mud for a mile on extremely winding road. We were scared, but I'm the morning that road is easy enough to navigate. But that's is just because the main roads are closed for repair

Anniversary stay !

I wanted to stay some where reclusive a d away from anybody or anything to have some downtime with my better half being it our anniversary . I had wanted a cabin up in the woods and the picture showed no neighbors nor did it mention any one being close. Looked like a cabin from the pictures and the yard looked bigger . WHEN arriving I noticed that I had a neighbor immediately to the right sharing the property assuming that the owner stayed right beside us within 75 to 50 feet. I also noticed there was no yard there was like a little bitty 6 foot wide 30 foot strip with grass to head up cement block, fire pit. So the outside impression was very poor. Upon entering the inside the first thing you notice is how clean it was and how fully accommodating from beverages, one dishes, pots pans, coffee, coffee maker, and everything you really could just need to feel comfortable packing no need to pack anything towels or anything. So that was very refreshing and the messaging and the property owner for the hostess was extremely helpful and very very nice and resourceful. Due to the accommodations on the inside in the hostess, being willing and very helpful that alone, they must a much more comfortable. Now will stay there again I doubt it but thanks to the hostess for going above and beyond on the inside and make him what I thought was going to be very uncomfortable a more pleasant stay than my eyes assumed .

The cabin was clean and well stocked with all that we needed. We enjoyed the sweet treats of chocolates left for us. I was thankful for the full stock of coffee, sugar and creamer options. It was the perfect space for our family of three.

Perfect place for me, my adult daughter, 12 year old granddaughter and 18 month old son. Plenty of room, clean. The personal touches and attention to detail were great! Love the deck. Anything you might have forgotten is there in the kitchen and bathroom. Great communication from Melissa. Location is just what I was looking for. Remote yet close to everything. We saw lots of wildlife. We will be back!

Enjoyed our stay, we just needed a place to crash after a full weekend of motorcycle riding. Its pretty close to Maggie valley and the wheels through time museum. Beware riding in the area of the house, lots of gravel drive ways bleeding into blind curves.Home owner was great, had fire wood for us and snacks and drinks. We stayed two nights, perfect simple house for a family our four grown men that didn't need anything special.

The cabin is very clean. The check in process was very easy. Anything you needed in the kitchen was available for you. The coffee maker and k-cups were a nice bonus so you didn’t have to go out for coffee. They even had creamer for you too. The bathroom had anything you could possibly need from make up remover wipes to an extra razor if you forgot yours. The owners really did think of everything. The big round chair was so comfy to just relax in. The games and books for the kiddos was very nice as well.

July 4th mountain trip

We had a memorable Independence Day weekend. Melissa left us a list of all the events going on that weekend. We went to a fireworks show at the nearby lake. Everything was just as the listing stated, she even had the place stocked with things in case we forgot something ie. toothpaste and shampoo and things like that

Quick stay

We just needed a place to lay our heads for the night for our travels, this was a great spot to do it. The beds were comfortable, peaceful setting and had we needed anything Melissa had thought of it all. Thank you for a great stay! We had breakfast at the Buttered biscuit nearby, the portions are massive, you've been warned.

I was born in Alabama, but grew up in Missouri. That's where I married and had my 3 children. My husband Mark and I, along with our two sons, vacationed in Asheville, NC in September 2020. After visiting the surrounding areas, we fell in love and just knew we had to live in the mountains! In July of 2021 we began our move to North Carolina from Missouri. I stay home with our boys. Mark is an electrician. We have one grown daughter and she stayed in Missouri. Our family loves traveling, sports, camping, hiking, swimming, hunting..... Anything outdoors! One of our favorite places to visit is Cataloochee Valley!
My passion is to provide a safe, clean and comfortable place for families to enjoy their trip to this beautiful area! I absolutely love being a host!
