What a beautiful house and property! We stayed for a few days with my mother and father-in-law after a family get together at Mohonk (New Paltz) earlier in the week. It was perfect for the 6 of us--2 adult couples plus our 17 and 20 year old children. My in-laws stayed in the primary suite--the attached bath with walk-in shower were perfect for an elderly couple. The kitchen is excellent --spacious with great cookeware and amenities--and the huge dining room table made family game night and dinners a breeze. The first night we ate dinner outside, and each morning we had coffee on the patio. The days were filled with lazing and relaxing in the pool. Despite being in the middle of a town, it felt like the property was miles from anyone else. We were graced with multiple hawks and eagles flying by throughout the days! Grocery and shopping are mere minutes away. If we need a place to stay anywhere in the vicinity, we will definitely try to stay here again.
