Large private condominium apartment at the resort condominium complex on the beach in sunny Kihei, Maui, Hawaii. 1 bedroom with private attached bathroom. 2nd bathroom down the hall with shower, large living area, dining area, kitchen with breakfast bar. PLUS, large private view deck looking out towards ocean. Beach chairs, pool towels, full size appliances including air conditioning and washer dryer.
Really, just hit the grocery store and you are set for the week!

General Info:
The Maui Sunset is located on over 5 acres of oceanfront at Kihei which is considered one of the best locations on the Valley Isle. Kihei is noted for its year-round sunshine, balmy trade winds, and soothing evening air. It is one of the driest and sunniest areas on the entire island, averaging only 10 inches a year! World famous swimming and snorkeling beaches are minutes away at one of the many sandy safe beaches at Kihei and nearby Wailea. Just a short distance (6 miles) from five championship 18-hole resort golf courses at Wailea and Makena. The two buildings frame and protect a large recreational area that is carefully attended and landscaped. The 60-foot swimming pool with its broad decks and abundance of pool furniture invites you to improve on your tan.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Parking was included. There's a parking lot for each building. They give you a pass at check-in. We were out late each night and had to hunt but always found a spot to park when we returned. There are small shopping carts tucked away in the bottom of the stair wells- use them to haul all your groceries or gear up to your room via the elevators. The exercise gym is small but has excellent equipment. Gym hours are 7am-10pm. They give you key fobs at check in that beep you into the gym and in/out of the pool/hot tub area. Tennis equipment and shuffle board equipment are in the storage cupboards next to the pool desk. Pool temp was just right, the hot tub was nice as well- although a bit crowded at times. The beach in front of the complex is great for a short walk, but not much for swimming or beach activities. Much better beaches are a short drive away. Makena was a fav. Our condo was fine- nothing fancy- but clean and everything worked well. It was a bit stuffy upon arrival, but the ceiling fans and opening the lanai door fixed that. Definitely a solid value for the $$. A day or two before our stay, they emailed the unit number and door code. Each door has a keypad- which was nice. A/C units have timers on them, which are located on the wall NEXT TO the A/C unit. You'll find the timers eventually. Our unit had a few beach towels, chairs, umbrella and two boogie boards in the closet. Overall, the property was near to what we expected from the listing, we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

The location is great and the grounds are spectacular. Beautiful views, walk to the beach in seconds. The pool area was great as well. Our condo was very clean, and had the basic essentials. Beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and ice packs. A definite must !

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the perfect condo for our family. We could easily and comfortably fit five of us. I loved that it has some of the basic amenities like pool towels that could double as a beach towel for us. There was even a beach umbrella and a few chairs available for use in the unit. It was great to have a washing machine/dryer in the unit itself. The pool is amazing and a great place for end of day relaxation. My kids loved it. They also loved being able to play around in the tennis courts, at the shuffleboard, and the mini “mini” golf (it’s just a few holes, but perfect kid fun!). The grounds are impeccable and the convenience of having bbq’s and picnic tables is wonderful - there was even an herb garden for us to use!There is also live music on the lawn every Tuesday, and that was a fun welcome to our trip. The location in the North part of Kihei is perfect. It’s close enough to what we need (the grocery/convenience store/ snorkel rental/open markets were less than a mile away) yet far enough from the hustle and bustle of the southern part of Kihei. Being “in town” is not really our vibe.
