Hi Jennifer, Thank you so much for choosing 5 Dunecrest for your Isle of Palms spring vacation with your friends! We are glad you enjoyed this beautiful home and the ocean views from every room! We are sorry about the elevator, the home owner replaced the elevator this winter and the gate was left open, putting it in a safety hibernation mode. All is good with it now. Come see us again, East Islands Rentals

Ruth, We are pleased to see you had a great experience and found the home beautiful. We are glad we were able to "rescue" you, this is a new elevator that hibernates if you leave the gate open as a safety feature. We hope to see you next fall!

Mary, We are so glad you and your family enjoyed your stay at 5 Dunecrest Lane and found the location perfect.. This is a beautiful home with a convenient layout for large families. We appreciate your kind words about our company staff too! Come see us again soon, East Islands Rentals

Megan, We are sorry to hear you were unhappy with your stay at this beautiful home with views that cannot be compared. The home is furnished with 24 sets of towels, which is typically plenty for a home that sleeps 12 people. We do not provide beach towels in any of our homes and we do not advertise as providing beach towels. All but one of the bathrooms in this home has been remodeled recently and there is a gourmet kitchen in the home. the homeowner just replaced all of the seating areas with new furniture. The elevator has had problems this summer, with the elevator company coming out about every other week. The tech said the elevator is being overloaded with weight. It has been fixed again since your visit. The ice maker has been a warranty issue this year, it was purchased in December and replaced in March but the manufacturer is not standing behind their product. The ice maker in the commercial refrigerator does work and we offered to bring you ice and we did, just as we did a few other guests this past year. Please note that as with all appliances and amenities in a home, they can go out at any time and cannot be predicted when this happens. We do, however, get them fixed as quickly as possible and our turn around time is much faster than most. This home is actually priced lower than most of the oceanfront homes in Wild Dunes, sleeping 12- that is less than $200 per person a night for a large, oceanfront, private boardwalk home! You cannot even get an inland hotel room for that. East Islands Rentals

Jennie, These are helpful suggestions and we always appreciate our guests input! We do not get to "stay" in our homes, so we do not experience all the nuances you have mentioned. We will pass them on to the home owner. Thank You and we hope to see you again soon.

Michelle, We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay at 5 Dunecrest and found its location gorgeous. The ocean facing doors and windows were replaced this winter along with two more bathrooms remodeled. New blinds have been installed. We hope to have you visit again so you can see the improvements! Elizabeth, Thank you so much for choosing 5 Dunecrest for your summer vacation to Wild Dunes. We are glad the home was a good fit for your family and you found it beautiful. The ice maker is under a warranty repair with the part needed on back order, we do hope to have it back up and running soon but were more than happy to bring you ice. The home does not have a sports card but there are accessible tennis courts and pickle ball courts on the island. Come back and see us soon! East Islands Rentals
