I go fishing with friend's in Port A annually but never stay at the same rental twice. I will stay here again next year.

Spacious older home that needs some TLC. Master bath leaks down through a light fixture at front door. Plenty of room for a big family to include your doggie a plus.

This home has great potential but it does need some tlc. The place was not cleaned prior to our arrival. The garage area was full of webs, the inside furnishings had webs & dust. The coffee maker still had the coffee grounds from who knows when because it had mold & the pot itself had leftover coffee. The pots, pans, utensils for cooking were really old. The first balcony had outdoor furniture but the table was broken & chairs were dirty. Bathrooms looked dirty & showed some mold. The two rooms in the garage area were very humid & had a smell to them. The room with the 2 beds we couldn’t use because it felt very humid almost wet. The Pros: The location is great. It’s close to the beach and the neighborhood was quiet. It did accommodate our large family.

Great place, great management, great balconies

6 guys down for fishing trip. Very comfy, clean house with a good location. Loads of parking and close to the beach. Had bad luck with the AC in the garage bed rooms go out but the management company were quick to respond and had a guy out to service it on a saturday afternoon. Thank you Cheryl!

Excellent property

This was an excellent property. The house was clean, well laid out, and the AC worked well. It was close to the beach, and well stocked with appliances and utensils. We would happily book again. Just some FYI's to other folks. Due to the size of the dunes, it is very difficult to see the beach from the house. In addition, the walking path is difficult (1/4 mile long and about 6 stories of elevation changes) even for our very much in-shape young adults. Plan on needing to drive to the beach for anyone that's not in peak physical condition. The house does not come well stocked with soaps/toilet paper/etc. A couple of days at most so bring some with you, or expect to buy it. They were kind enough to give us a second "welcome package".

Great House!

This house was great for our group of twelve. Super spacious and clean. The kitchen was nicely stocked for cooking and dining. I hope at some point they install a connecting bathroom for the two rooms downstairs. That would make this house PERFECT! The area was nice and quiet. The boardwalk was a little sketchy to navigate but was handy to have for that midnight trip to the beach.

Weekend getaway

The property was as it was advertised. The two bedrooms downstairs had no bathrooms and had to come to the second (main) floor for bathroom access but overall it was a nice home and would definitely consider staying there again.

Perfect for our group

We had 4 generations staying there. There was plenty of space and parking for everyone. It was clean, cool and close to the beach. We had a fabulous time.

Not great

I'll start with the positives. The living area and dining areas were lovely and were great for our group of 9 to all hang out and enjoy each other's company. The upstairs rooms were also very nice, and the master had a gorgeous bathroom. However, the A/C upstairs was not working, so they had put window units in each room that were quite loud and were dripping into buckets on the balcony. The major issue was the downstairs rooms. They were in the garage, which wouldn't be a big problem, but there is no bathroom down there. Also, those rooms had a musty smell and everything in there felt a bit damp. We also found a variety of bugs throughout the house, and a mouse made its way into some of the food we had stored in the pantry. While the location was good and the gathering areas were nice, I would not book this house again.

Great for a family of young adults

House was great and had plenty of room for our party of 11. Driveway was huge and had plenty of room for multiple cars and a truck and boat trailer. The AC was not working upstairs when we arrived but they were already working on it and had it fixed quick. If I were to change anything it would be to have a small bathroom in the garage. One more full bathroom would make it the perfect place!

Terrible Rental Experience

If your under 25 and never rented a house this is the place for you. If your older with a family and want something comfortable and safe, this is not the place. Our child has his arm go through a windowed door that maintenance had know about and neglected to repair correctly for the sake of owner revenue gain. Image beach air coming right through your living room. Very unsafe place to rent.

I expected more

When we arrived the a/c didn't work, Silver Sands did bring window units though.The glass was about to fall out of the door leading to the main deck.I can't even remember how many times I had to call to get it fixed. House did not have a grill as advertised and that took several calls as well. I have been using Silver Sands for many years and it seems they have out grown the great service they used to offer. I do not recommend this house or Silver Sands.

Any sort of interior labels for finding the other bedrooms would be useful. Also there is water and sewer downstairs, even a half bathroom down there would really change the stars to 5.

Only suggestion would be an upgrade to the grill, something supportive of the number of potential guests, sturdy, and possible wind break, option for gusty days snd dedicated fire extinguisher. Good place for Thanksgiving

House was nice, but 1 of the beds in the garage had bugs in it. Luckly we didn't need it because 1 of our family had to back out of the trip. Silver sands offered to move us but we decided not to because all the other bedrooms were good with no bugs. The losting was not clear when it states 2 bedrooms on the 1st floor, you don't know that means in the garage. All othwr bedrooms were upstairs and we had elderly, less mobile grandparents that had to climb a good number of stairs. We would have chosen somewhere else. AC on the main floor where the kitchen and living room are went out and Silver Sands got it fixed by lunch time on Thanksgiving day. Was not a problem for the men but our ladies were not happy.

Enjoyed the stay but not happy.

I enjoyed the house. Nice views and nice layout of the 2nd and 3rd floors. Garage bedrooms do not have bathroom. Grills are rusted. Obstructed view of ocean due to overgrown palm trees. BUT...my real issue. Is that the cleaning fee of almost 400 dollars for 2 days is non negotiable. I cleaned the house, washed the towels and ran the diswasher as requested by the leasing office. Took out the trash and lightly cleaned the house. BUT..I am being charged the full cleaning fee. They had almost nothing to clean. Had I known that this would be the case I would not have cleaned anything. I would not have taken out the trash. I would have left everything as it was. I find it unfair to be charged such a high cleaning fee when I cleaned the house and left it as found. PLUS, the showers handles are upside down and so it takes a long while to figure out how to get hot water and the jets in the tub are not working. I liked the house but will not stay there again. Too many other options to deal with this again.

Planning on staying here again.

The location is perfect. The views are awesome. It's clean and has just about everything you need. I enjoyed that the living area is seperated from the sleeping areas. Downside...the bed rooms in garage do not have a bathroom. Be sure to leave the light on in the garage for the midnight trips to the upstairs bathroom. There are 2 palm trees that need to be cut down to half the height. Also, the handle in the hall bathroom is upside down. Last...the BBQ grills need to be replaced and the place would greatly benefit from a chimminea. Over all I give it a 4 star rate.

Very fun stay

Everything with our stay was wonderful! A few things to know before you book this house. 1. I hope you like stairs, because if you book this place you'll be climbing them a lot. The house has three staircases and the boardwalk to the beach is really up and down, lots of stairs. 2. The house does not have an outdoor shower, so when you return from the beach you have to use the outdoor hose to rinse off. 3. Two of the bedrooms are in the garage. The one with two queens and one of the ones with a single king are all located in the unfinished garage, and there's no bathroom down there, so you have to walk up to the house to get to a bathroom. Other than that, our stay was lovely!

The decks are great for catching the morning sun and drinking coffee and reading. The boardwalk to beach is extremely close and nice to be able to walk to beach. Would also be nice if there was a corner shower caddy provided for master shower as there is no where to put shampoo or soap except on floor. We would rent this house again

There was an abundance of room and on the rainy day the garage space allowed for some cornhole play. We had an ocean view from the upstairs deck and the boardwalk over the dunes was nearby. Management was helpful. Will definitely consider again!
