Close to everything fun! This beautiful spacious cabin has three large bedrooms, two full bathrooms, living room with wood burning fireplace, kitchen and family sized dining room are all under a wood beamed cathedral ceiling great room. Very large dining table easily seats 8 and still has room for a holiday turkey. Kitchen has large tile countertops with bar seating. Equipped with dishwasher, microwave, double oven, blender, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, pots/pans and more. Living room has a large 42' Plasma Tv and there is free Wi-Fi Internet!! Every bedroom has its own cable TV. Patio with hot tub and charcoal barbecue is in a large fenced in private wooded yard, perfect for children and pets to run and play or a peaceful cup of coffee in the morning. Huge front yard with enormous pine trees offers more room for play. Single story, no stairs anywhere, flat lot makes this cabin very family friendly and easy to access. Over sized carport can fit and RV or boat. Walking distance to the ski slopes. Professionally cleaned and maintained, fresh towels and linens provide to each guest. Sleeps 8. Parking for 4 vehicles.

Bedroom one has a king bed and cable TV.

Bedroom two has a buckled with a twin and a full on the bottom.

Bedroom three has two twin beds.

Great place to stay in Big Bear

The house was perfect for our weekend away with friends! We had plenty of shared space, a great hot tub, and all the kitchen tools/pots/pans we needed to make a few meals. The beds were very comfy and though we were there when it was warm, the cabin stayed pretty cool and had a cross breeze. We were a short drive from the village, but away from the busy-ness of that area. Host was available and answered all the questions we had prior to and during the stay. Would highly recommend a stay here and we hope to stay here again!

Convienent and cozy.

My family stayed here for a week and had the best time. The house was centrally located and very comfortable. Whether we were boating on the lake or hiking the mountains it was mere minutes from the house. We look forward to coming back and staying here on our next trip to Big Bear.

Awesome stay, Awesome Place

The homeowner is extremely responsive and friendly. Gave us all the instructions and check-in was very very easy. Inside property was clean, had fireplace, large bunk beds for kids. Outside jacuzzi was awesome. This property was great for 4 adults and 4 kids.

Beautiful house in a beautiful location

Nice house, beautiful location. Just few minutes walking to the ski summit. And also helpful management. I can’t wait to comeback to this house.

Very Convenient!

I'm going to keep this short and sweet. This cabin was perfect for my family and I. It is very spacious inside and out. My only regret was not using the jacuzzi. Thank you James and Lysa for making this such an easy and fun stay, we will be back!

Perfect House Perfect Location

We absolutely loved this home. It is walking distance to snow summit which was great because we didn’t have to deal with parking. The house was very homey with wood beams and nice furniture. Plenary of space and all the essentials. The large hot tub was great for a soak after playing in the snow. The heater and fireplace kept us nice and warm. Loved it and will definitely rent again.

Great space!

Great place, needs a little TLC. We had a great time. Fenced yard, jacuzzi under the stars and just a perfect time. Stove needs replacing, must use a lighter and I was too scared to light the oven so I made everything on the bbq. I would recommend and stay again. Please get some working fans for those heat warning days. Thank you, great place for the family!

Great cabin and location

Overall we had a wonderful time at this cabin. James was very nice and always responded quickly to any inquiry. The cabin was walking distance to the Trolly red line which takes you to the village! Walgreens, 7-12, and other restaurants are also walking distance. My only two suggestion are 1) that the description be updated as only the master had a tv, the kitchen did not have a blender (which caused a bit of a headache for us but we found one at CVS and had to buy it) and the only toiletries there were hand soap, dish soap, and enough trash bags, toilet paper, and paper towels for maybe a day. We never really expect that stuff to be provided so we took plenty of those things beforehand, just a tip for future guest. 2) all mattresses squeak ALOT and are not very comfortable, they all have definitely seen better days! As stated in the beginning, the stay overall was great and I would absolutely recommend this listing!

Solid, but expectations were not met

Hey guys - overall this is a solid property great location in Big Bear near Summit Rd - spacious, fireplace, hot tub, carport, stand out location...But there is a LOT the VRBO posting for this Homeaway rental is lacking. Rather than add flourish, here is the exchange with the Coldwell Bank rep who manages this property from today, the day of our family's check out: James at Coldwell/Homeaway: "The owner has added a new charge to your recent stay for damage or incidentals. This payment will be applied to your credit card within 3-5 business days. Dog poop not picked up. The rules clearly state dog pool has to be picked up. Sorry" My reply: "Hi James, not a problem! Also I just realized I forgot to snap the hot tub cover back on. I had cleaned up the poop earlier in our stay, but completely forgot to do a second sweep before we left. Please note there is a real reason for this. Rushing out for the extremely early check out time, dealing with the unacceptable check out rules that were not included with the VRBO posting (only posted on the fridge) it just passed me by to do a second check of the clean up before leaving. In addition, my sister in law broke her ankle while we were up there. As her mother did not end up joining us on the trip, I was the only adult dealing with pretty much everything before leaving, so it was not intentional. I will pay the charge because you are right, I did see that charge posted on the fridge. That charge was also Not listed in the vrbo posting but that’s ok. Meaning, I was not provided all of the information regarding the requirements for our stay during the reservation process. The place was fine enough to stay at, but no way in heck am I going to the local dump for any place I stay in. I don’t work for vrbo or your company." This was only one of the insane requirements - you take all your trash with you and go to the local dump at the end of your stay. I liked Big Bear, but for this reason alone, Tahoe kicks Big Bear's ass. At least you can be informed before you go. BTW - ending your stay at the town dump was only one of the several nutty surprise "refrigerator rules" for this cabin. They're lucky they are so close to the slopes, I figure they assume people will put up with anything for that.

My wife and I celebrated our 15-year anniversary here, and from the moment we arrived, the experience was wonderful. The property was clean, welcoming, and beautifully maintained. The location couldn’t have been better—peaceful, scenic, and surrounded by nature.The only drawback was the Jacuzzi: not all of the jets worked, and the pressure was a bit weak. That said, the water was hot and inviting, so we still enjoyed it.Overall, I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene getaway surrounded by trees in a perfect location. The booking process was simple, and James made everything easy by providing all the information we needed. We would absolutely stay here again.

This is our fourth visit to this place for our annual 4th of July Big Bear trip. We love the layout of the place, especially for one family member in a wheelchair. The fenced in backyard is big and our dogs love being out there with all the trees.

Cozy and clean

The property was very nice and clean. Well maintained. It had a very nice cabin feeling inside, was welcoming and cozy. It had a lot of amenities we needed. We also used the jacuzzi which was very nice. It was one block off of the main road but very quiet, and close to shopping and the ski resorts. If you stay during busy times you are walking distance, across the street, to the shuttle that will take you to the ski resorts. We were there on a weekday and there were no shuttles but it was a few minute drive to the parking. Overall it was the perfect place to stay.

Great Location For House!!

Family vacation

Loved the cabin, it was central to everything. The host let us check in a couple hours early and that was wonderful! I'm definitely going to stay here again. We enjoyed the hot tub, beds were comfortable, decor was cute and cozy. Loved it!

Great Place

We enjoyed our stay being centrally located and the layout being a one story. Nice family room kitchen area. Had all the amenities including a hot tub! Plenty of pots and pans and utensils. Only negative was the sheet that was used where a blind should be in the front bedroom and street noise from Big Bear Blvd. Would stay here again!

A Lovely Place to Stay

This was a lovely property to stay in for a long weekend with four childhood friends. The host, James, was wonderful, responsive and super accommodating. Small warning is that it does not have air conditioning, which would typically be fine, but with a strange heat wave -- think about bringing a fan!
