This home also offers a beautiful private pool and pool spa for you to enjoy swimming in the sunshine. Don't forget to store your beverages in the backyard minifridge! The home boasts an open concept with modern touches. The stellar modern kitchen features upscale appliances, a wine fridge, and a lovely cool grey color scheme that extends to the spacious prep island. Each bedroom is decorated for comfort, with one featuring a desk workspace for completing remote work in privacy. The main bedroom features a private balcony and a spacious ensuite bathroom that includes a standalone tiled shower and a soaking tub. Pool toys and a paddleboat are included for guest use during your stay - fun comes guaranteed at this lovely home.

A beautiful house. It looks better then in the pics. We stayed for 3 night. However, we were asked us to pay extra to heat the pool. The light in the pool only worked till 9 pm. The water pressure was weak, and we ran out of the hot water. Overall great experiece. There is an elevator for elders, and a lot of enterteining for teenegers: volleball court, pingpong table, paddle boards. Kids had a lot of fun.

Great for large groups

Property is a very nice 5 bedroom home, perfect for a family beach trip. Access to beach is just steps from the home and the private pool and spa are great for unwilling.Property management team is very responsive to your needs.

Wonderful House By The Beach

I have stayed at a number of homes on Bonita Beach and there is not a better home that I have stayed at. Looks better in person than the pictures, and the pictures look great. RIght across from the beach and the rear of the property is on the bay with kayaks. Just terrific location. Big bedrooms and bathrooms. Host was terrific. Great house.

We arrived on Wednesday. We didn't have hot water to shower until Saturday night. This has been a problem with this property if you go back and look at the other reviews. Why wasn't it fixed? It really makes you wonder if dishes were clean that we ate off of. The property manager did a great job of communicating once we got to speak with him. The emails that we sent went unnoticed.

Family Winter Getaway

We enjoyed a family (age 20-85) vacation away from winter. We loved the location with incredible views and the spaciousness of the property. We spent two weeks enjoying the heated pool/spa, walking and watching the local birds around the property! The Pacman machine was an unexpected hit. Father and son competed daily. Son won. The property management team was excellent when issues arose.

Unforgettable Escape

We had a fantastic time during our week at Modern Hickory Hideaway! It was just as pictured. We loved the pool, the proximity to the beach and how big and spacious the house was to accommodate the 8 people in our 2 families. This is a beautiful house in a great location! The elevator was a bonus to transport our heavy suitcases and groceries between floors. Plenty of beach gear, supplies, towels, etc. Unforgettable, amazing vacation and memories.

Plenty of room for the entire family or a large group of friends! Couldn't be in a better location right near the beach access and close to restaurants. The pool and back patio was a great spot to hang out after a day at the beach and grill up some food! The only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars is due to extra cost for the pool and spa heat, but the spa never got above 87°F. Don't bother spending the extra money.

Good house

This rental is a good home for a group. The layout is terrific. Beds are comfy. The pool is terrific! The kitchen is really wonderful and easily meet the needs of our group. The only issue is the lack of furniture in the great room. There is not enough furniture to comfortably accommodate a group.

great spot, terrible management company Vacasa, Inc.

Fridge went out during the stay and pool controls were a constant issue. Management company (Vacasa, Inc.) gave us the run around and were terrible to work with. Location of the house was great and almost a brand new build.

Very modern, gorgeous home in an excellent location, and with gorgeous views.

We all loved our five days in this gorgeous home. Having the pool right outside the kitchen kept everyone in our family close during the day and night. Great addition to have a full bath outside by the pool! Very convenient to have three of the five bedrooms to have adjoining full baths, and for the washer and dryer to be on the second floor as well. Only negative feedback is to ask for the kitchen to be stalked with a few more supplies such as a crock pot, mixer and more food storage containers. Aunt spray/killer would be nice as well since we did encounter some during our stay. View from the master bedroom balcony is absolutely beautiful, and the house is within walking distance of a few great dining choices. We would definitely stay here again!!

Needs TLC

Well were do i start. the house is great but our check in time was 4pm and cleaning people needed 45 more min to finish up so we checked in at 5pm so we lost anytime we had of enjoying the beach. The BBQ is a hot mess with flames reaching the roof and only 2 burners working. The water pressure in the house is super weak in the kitchen area and the hot water only works well in the master bedroom. the other rooms below only had cold water. The jacuzzi was not working because the Ipad locked us out. The motorized shades in the outside area were broken so one down and the others up all time. The trash bins need to be cleaned cuz flies were all over the house and got inside as well so bring a fly swatter. overall we had a great time even with all these issues. hopefully they can do some TLC for future stays.

Labor Day Vacation

House is accurately described. The house itself, location, and ambience is 5 stars for a large family Vacation. Our only complaint is communication with Vacasa and problem resolution. We rented with kids for labor day weekend.BBQ malfunctioning. We called since check-in for assistance with no solution only that they created a service ticket and someone would call us. After multiple calls to Vacasa no help or call ever arrived. There subcontractor called the morning of check-out. Poor management.

Great house, poor maintenence

The house was very nice but the maintenance issues really soured our stay. The fridge didn't work and we lost a load of groceries that went bad. We were compensated for that but still didnt have a working freezer till friday so we had to eat out a lot. Then mostbof the showersdont get hot water unless extra things are running. The master shower was fine but the others didnt generate enough water flow for the hot water heater to kick on. Finally, the great room break kept tripping and one of those times we were lowerring the shade and it crashed to the ground, landing 1 foot feom one of the kids. Overall its a great house and location and we'd come again if we knew those issues were addressed, but it was obnoxious dealing with issues all week.

Losing your groceries and not having a working freezer most of the week is definitely frustrating, and while we're glad we were able to offer some compensation, we know it doesn't completely make up for the hassle. The hot water situation and the breaker tripping with the shade falling down sounds really stressful, especially with kids around. We're just thankful no one got hurt. A brand new fridge is on the way, and our team is already working on fixing the hot water and electrical issues so they don’t happen again. Great home…but not great service

We loved the home itself, the property is perfect for an adult getaway with friends. However, we arrived to find the home not yet cleaned by check in time, the cleaners were there for an hour past time, and then proceeded to hang out in the driveway and chain smoke. The property manager promised to remove the cleaning fee, however Vacasa has done nothing to refund our cleaning fee or provide any discounts we were promised. Also, the washing machine was broken, with no discounts or acknowledgement. Be ready for problems with this place!!!
