So glad y’all enjoyed the peaceful space and had fun with your family. Thanks for leaving the cabin clean, bedsheets in baskets, and dishes washed. We will gladly welcome you all back again.
This was a great rental home. Very clean and everything was in great working condition. The 3 bedrooms were perfect for our family and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking breakfast and dinners. Our pup loved playing in the snow and going on walks around the wooded property and the neighborhood. It was quiet and very peaceful. We made a super quick drive to the Boulder Beach area and took some beautiful pictures. We could have walked but it was 8 degrees lol. I would definitely come back and stay during the summer specifically for this Beach area. The only 2 small critiques we thought we would have is the lack of wifi at the cabin. However, the owner had a great booster and we got great cell service in the home. There was also a great selection of DVDs so we were able to watch movies while played games around the large kitchen table. It was great. The other small critique was the fact of not having a trash service so we had to pack our own trash out and find a dumpster to throw it away. But this was only a minor inconvenience and not a big deal. The owner was extremely responsive to any questions we had. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. We would 100% stay here again.

Thanks for your review and I apologize for the pack it in/pack it out. The trash service is expensive and we aren’t up there every month and rental use is only a few weeks a year. All the best to you and your family.

Why they chose this property
Wagon Wheel subdivision has larger 1/2 acre lots, big sub alpine spruce and tamarack trees, and lots of deer and other wildlife. Boulder Creek park/picnic tables/boat ramp only 1/2 mile away. Very quiet but not too far from McCall or Cascade and Donnelly has the best Huckleberries! Goldfork Hot Springs is only a 20 minute drive from our cabin.
What makes this property unique
Big trees in the front and nice grassy backyard surrounded by trees. Lots of wildlife and at night there isn’t much light pollution so lots of stars. Sitting by the wood stove inside or by the fire pit outside is very relaxing. There is a front and back deck to sit on and in the summer a nice patio table in the backyard for outdoor dining. We are close to the lake, but not too close to hear much boat noise. Walk to the lake in 15-20 minutes. The lot on one side of the cabin is woods and a fence on the other side offers privacy. Plenty of parking space for 3-4 vehicles.
