Delightful house situated near many beautiful horse ranches and very close to two of the nicest distilleries around. House was well appointed and comfortable. Our hostess was welcoming and responsive. We would stay again without hesitation.
This was the perfect place to escape to the mountains. The house itself is surrounded by farms in which you will have the pleasure of seeing cows, horses, and lots of deer. However the drive up is a purely scenic mountain climb. The perfect location to many of Kentucky's distillerys on the Bourbon Trail. 10/10 recommend!
This little farmhouse was a great place to get away for a long weekend. Short drive to many different distilleries and downtown Frankfort. Nice outdoor areas to relax and watch the deer wander pass.
The Farmhouse Cottage was perfect for our Derby weekend stay. The house is well-appointed with lots of special touches to make your stay more comfortable. It feels like staying in someone's home, not just any Vrbo. It has a rural feel, but is close to many attractions. Views from the porch are incredible, and a great place to drink a cup of coffee while watching the cows. Checking in and out were very easy, and the host was responsive.
This house was very clean and put together perfectly. They had everything you would want for a weekend stay. The host was very good at communicating everything with us.
The home was clean and quiet. It’s centrally located being only minutes from Wild Turkey, Four Roses, Larriken, Woodford Reserve, Buffalo Trace and other distilleries. A great restaurant (The Stace)is close as well. Wonderful food & bourbon bar. I highly recommend this home.
The house has old farmhouse feel, like a trip back in time to Grandma's. Well furnished with everything a couple or small family needs for a lengthy stay. Beautiful rolling hills view from covered back deck and the only sound is cattle in the distance. Perfect getaway in center of bourbon country.
Liked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities, communication
quiet country living close to bourbon distilleries. Definitely need a car to get to towns for dining etc.
Home was like staying at Grandma house - charming.
Very well stocked with everything you can think of.
We enjoyed nighly fires around the fire pit in the backyard - just lovely.
Take a step back into the 1940s in this delightful cottage with appropriately selected modern conveniences. Enjoy the rural environment while being just moments from sevetal of the most popular distilleries.
