We had a wonderful Valentine's Day spent in this lovely cabin. The place was decorated with hearts and cute stuffed bears, and the hosts even set up some wine and chocolates for us - it was so so sweet! The location was nice and quiet. The kitchen, grill, and firepit were fantastic - we did a lot of cooking, grilling, and staring at the stars. Size was nice and cozy but also quite modern with more oldie-decor to it so it was a great vibe, and the giant couch and table setup was perfect for playing boardgames and hanging out. We also drove down to the Mississippi river in Dubuque and even saw an eagle and a hawk eating a fish on the ice - pretty awesome stuff to escape the city!

Weekend Getaway

I wanted to plan a weekend getaway for my boyfriend when I stumbled upon this cabin. It is tucked away off the main road but everything is within close driving distance. We loved the atmosphere and esthetics of the cabin and the hosts thought of everything down to the little details! I highly recommend this place and woukd definitely stay here again! Had a wonderful weekend at the Cabin. The cabin was decorated for Valentines and was a wonderful extra item to see the owners do for it. The cabin was equipped with everything. We enjoyed staying here and will be back!

Great anniversary weekend.

This place was by far one of the best VRBOs we've stayed in. Exceptionally clean and had the best stocked kitchen I've ever had. Every type of cooking utensil, pots pans, plates ect that I needed.Hosts were great! We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary and were surprised with a bottle of wine!Highly recommend.
