Thoroughly charmed by the whole experience...the decorator's hand was everywhere...just what this working artist needed to see...the only place I would ever want to stay in Toucson
Mi Casita was a great choice for our visit to Tucson. The house is centrally located in an historical neighborhood dripping in charm. Amenities were exactly as stated in listing. Would definitely book again!Cathy and Al
The place was very cute in a quiet neighborhood and great location. Joanne went above and beyond with great communication and providing us with a bottle of vinho, yummy chips and coffee. The decor was very southwestern with every art pieces placed with intention. The outdoor space too was so cute and peaceful. So charming! Would stay there again in a heartbeat!
Loved loved this property, private, off-street parking, casita was in a lovely, charming fenced yard. The casita itself was very comfortable and updated, but still retaining Old Pueblo charm. The hostess ensured we had everything we needed, and we wanted for nothing. Within easy walking distance to some of the best eateries in Tucson. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would rent again.
Joanne is a great host. The property is very nice and cozy. The casita garden is super nice and really opens up the living space. Would stay here again. Thanks!
We enjoyed our stay! The house was very comfortable and we enjoyed the southwest feel. The grill was nice to have available for the option of eating at the house. We ended up driving to all of our activities and found it easy to get to all of places we wanted to go (i.e. hiking, restaurants, breweries).
So lovely. Beautifully decorated with nice outdoor patio. Enclosed parking space made us feel secure. Comfortable bed. Easy access to highways. Friendly owner who responsive to our questions. Definitely a winner.
This casita was perfect for our 6 night stay! We enjoyed walking to the downtown area several times for shopping, eating, and experiencing the various neighborhoods. Joanne was available whenever we needed something or had questions, while at the same time giving us privacy. She made our stay very comfortable and memorable. The casita was very clean, quiet, and nicely decorated. We enjoyed eating our breakfast each morning on the patio. We will definitely stay here if we visit Tucson again. Loved it!!
Visited daughter for family weekend at UofA. Such a wonderful hidden gem. Management was great to work with and very responsive. Will definitely stay there again when we come to Tucson.
Our host was friendly and helpful. The house was comfy and cozy. It was well stocked with books and kitchen gear. We loved the outdoor spaces. We walked to several great restaurants. We would love to stay here again.
We enjoyed this cottage. Cozy and comfortable, especially the bed! Nice to have washer/dryer available. Quiet neighborhood with a couple of restaurants close by.
This place was perfect for my husband and I during our Tucson visit for the Gem & Mineral shows. It is walking distance to the convention center and just a few miles drive to Mineral City. It feels very private with your own courtyard patio which was great for morning breakfast and evening dinners. Joanne, the owner, lives right next door and was available if we needed anything. We will rent this place again!
Really enjoyed my stay at Mi Casita! Joanne was super responsive and made the whole process easy and efficient. The place is very tastefully decorated, and yes, it really does have a kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom, and yard! Easy 15 minute walk to/from downtown. Highly recommend this place!!
We have stayed in this casita a few times. Each time is as good as the first. Everything is exactly as described. We love the privacy, comfortable porch area, great wifi, comfortable bed, and very safe. Joanne takes great care of her guests and is available if you need her.
The casita is very comfortable and well furnished. My wife and I had planned to stay a month, but the corona situation caused us to leave early. The casita is conveniently located and we enjoyed taking a nightly walk. The neighborhood is very quiet. We were just getting acclimated to the area when it was time to leave. We were easily able to find grocery stores, drug stores, restaurants, and other activities. It was nice to be met by the owner and have snacks, coffee, and incidentals waiting. Any issues were quickly fixes by the owner who lives next door. We hope to be able to return next year.
We had a surprisingly restful and pleasant stay. Joanne was great to deal with. The house had many thoughtful touches. We enjoyed eating out on the patio, and it was fun to hang up our laundry outdoors in January. It was a great place to stay and a super host to deal with.
We thoroughly enjoyed our Tucson stay in this little adobe house on its own private lot. Our hostess, who lives one lot over, has supplied the adobe casita with everything a guest might need. It is decorated, inside and out, with old traditional Mexican decor which we loved. It was very comfortable and the perfect size for our two person 8 night stay. The location worked for us as we traveled to all four corners of Tucson to hike, shop, dine, or visit with old friends. It was easy in-town driving, and it is very close to I-10. We have absolutely no complaints or suggestions for improvements as Joanne took care of everything in advance, and this casita is very private (walled and gated) from the landlord's residence next door.

Why they chose this property
This adjacent property with neglected casita sat vacant for 4 years. I love renovating old homes and creating a unique living space.
