Newly remodeled 5 bedroom home with 150’ of waterfront on Lake Waukewan with your own private dock! Lake Waukewan is approx. 928 acres offering something for everyone. You can walk, swim or jump on your kayak or SUP and be to Main St./downtown less than 1/4 mile away or explore the open water and inlets where you may see loons swim by and eagles gliding overhead. This five bedroom, 4.5 bath Cape home was remodeled in 2023 and offers everything you need for a relaxing lake life adventure. Have fun in the large game room equipped with air hockey, fuse ball, pool table and more. If you like to fish, you will find this lake full of rainbow trout, smallmouth bass, chain pickerel, horned pout and white perch among other species. In the winter, enjoy skiing, ice skating, cross country skiing, snowmobiling and ice yachting across the Lake. Tucked into a cove off the main Lake, you may just enjoy sitting on your private dock listening to the sounds of nature. Beautiful open concept kitchen, dining & living room with an enclosed all season sunroom and large open deck overlooking the lake and Swazey Park! The master bedroom suite has an ensuite master bath equipped with a large jetted whirlpool bath. The lower level offers a second living room and game room. The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Kayaks stay on lawn across the st. flipped upside down to avoid filling with rain, make sure plugs are in kayaks. Paddles, floats and noodles go under porch. Preservers get hung back in closet.
Leave sheets on the beds. Run dishwasher to avoid additional charge. Fan remotes left on kitchen island, confirm TV remotes are with TVs.
Flip cushions up on outside furniture and restack the chairs. If you use the grill make sure it is clean and gas turned off.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Absolutely NO smoking in house. 150. additional $150. cleaning fee in addition to any burn damage fees.
Dishes need to be washed and dishwasher run to avoid an additional $40. cleaning fee
Please close and lock all doors when checking out. Make sure the remotes are left on the kitchen island.

Summer Lake House

It was a wonderful stay. Everything was just perfect, Joanne is a wonderful host - she checked on us to se if we needed anything. We would stay there again and highly recommend the property to anyone to look for easy lake access, a quiet street and a quick walk to town.

Perfect Labor Day Getaway!

Spent a wonderful Labor Day weekend with friends and family…we had 4 families and there was plenty of room for everyone and lots to do! The location was great, so close the kids biked everywhere. We brought a fishing boat and jet ski, but made great use of the canoe and kayaks too. Would definitely come back!

Ladies weekend 2025

The description was spot on and the location was perfect for our group . It was lovely sitting by the water and if the weather had been a little better we would have been on the water. We enjoyed the large deck and large sunroom for hanging out together. Joanne was great getting back to and helping us with our questions . We all would like to stay here again maybe next year. It is a fabulous place for a large group gathering..

A great home for our reunion!

I’m This is a fantastic property that has everything and more! It’s so well designed and outfitted to serve the guests. We had five siblings (67-84), their spouses and a niece and nephew—all loved the setup. The host was more than helpful! The view is delightful and the proximity to Meredith and made it easy to find fun places to eat and shop.

Amazing house and location!

The house is ideal for families and the location is wonderful. You feel tucked away in a lake community, yet you’re walking distance to lovely downtown Meredith. The house is stocked with everything needed, and the property is well-designed and maintained. Joanne is a fantastic host and was very responsive. Highly recommend this property!

This was the absolutely perfect home for me and my large group of friends! It was large and spacious with an amazing location on the water and waking distance to everything we needed. Fabulous Location

House had everything and then some! Only wish we could have stayed longer and truly got to appreciate the outdoor deck. Great spot and plenty of room for three families. The activities were plentiful for the teenagers & adults. Would 1000% go back!

Amazing property for a large group in scenic Meredith. House had ample space for all my friends and I for a long weekend. Close to the center of town and lots of activites in the area. Was also great having kayak access right across the street! Will definitely come back if I have a group trip planned in the area.

Great Spot!

We stayed the week here with family and just loved it! There was lots to do for the 7 boy cousins and all the adults. Fishing and boating right off the dock into the canal--we parked our small motorboat there for easy access to Lake Waukewan through the week. The house was perfect for us! Thanks!

Perfect spot for ski getaway

Loved everything about this house! It was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. We skied Gunstock, and the 20 minute ride was not bad at all. We had to message the owners a couple of times, and they were so kind and quick to respond. I would definitely recommend this house, especially in the summer. The lake is right across the street, and the center of town is walking distance.

Amazing house

This house is really large. My friends and I do weekend mountain trips a few times a year, always in a rented house. This was the first time we all our own bathrooms! The rooms are large, the furniture comfortable, and included everything we could possible need. The host was incredibly helpful, especially with me asking about things I vaguely recalled from my last visit to the area over 30 years ago. Would 100000% stay there again.

Beautiful Home w/Lots of Amenities!

This home was perfect for a group of 12 to celebrate Thanksgiving! It had plenty of space to spread out as well as a large dinning area for us to all gather together. It is well appointed with many options for entertainment and everything we needed to prepare and serve our thanksgiving feast. Very clean and all the furnishings were good quality and very comfortable! Thanks to Joanne who a very gracious host!! She was extremely friendly and willing to do whatever she could to make our trip as enjoyable as possible! An absolutely wonderful place to stay!

This place is amazing, there were 10 ladies up for the fishing derby. Home is beautifully done and so comfortable. All bedrooms had bathrooms, HUGE for us old bags!! We fished on Waukewan, was a beautiful day, no fish but a great time. You can easily walk to town, shopping, restaurants, this house and location is amazing and Meredith is a fun quaint town anytime of the year. Joanne our host was quick to respond to our questions, we had an absolutely wonderful time and have already booked for next year!

Family perfection

My (older) family stayed here all together during my wedding weekend and they were extremely pleased with everything! Being older, I was nervous they’d all be a little set in their ways and find somethinggg not up to their standards but they were all absolutely in love. Very very happy family. I also went over just to see it for myself, and I too agree, what a fantastic rental. So clean, great location, plenty of room. Joanne was such an incredible host and spoke with my mother ahead of time to calm her nerves and help anyway she could. She was extremely accommodating and I can’t thank her enough for taking such great care of my family. I’d recommend this rental over and over again!

Lakefront house

Wonderful house with lakefront property with your own dock! Newly remodeled house room for everyone! 3 separate floors if you have families and a great game room for teens! Plenty of seating outdoors , lounge chairs , picnic table , seating around fire pit table! Beautiful deck with dining table and lounge seating with view of Lake! Walking distance to Village of Meredith! George’s Diner is great for breakfast/lunch, cafe for your lattes, Mexican restaurant and Lake Winnipesaukee down the street, shopping and Ben and Jerry’s ice cream! So much room for everyone and bathrooms !! We will be back!! Joanne was great at answering?’s and bringing stuff if you needed! Also great kayak/paddle board rental if you need more they deliver and pick up! Wild Meadow Paddlesports!

Graduation get-away

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Meredith. The house is well laid out to allow our family of seven plus a couple of extras room to spread out. The only issue we had was the upstairs bedrooms were uncomfortably warm and the lack of screens on some windows made us skittish about leaving them open so more instructions for the AC, more screens and maybe fans upstairs would be helpful. The kitchen was well-equipped and spacious. The dining room table was perfect for family games. All the labels on the light switches were really helpful. Loved the reclining couches. Had fun in the lake (right ancross the street - the property includes a dock annd skip100 feet of lakefront) and lounging by it. The house felt very clean when we arrived. The house is in a quieter part of town. It’s half a mile to the grocery store and walking distance to Ben and Jerry’s. Spotted a fox, chipmunks, Canada geese and a big family of ducks. The pictures of the house on VRBO don’t do it justice. The host Joanne was responsive, easy to get ahold of and kind. The list of things to do at checkout was short - the perfect length for the end of a vacation!

Hi Valerie, Glad you had a great time. We purchased fans for the upstairs in case guests preferred those vs. the AC. I posted directions for the remotes which control heat and AC in all of the rooms.
