Vaulted cabin ceilings, NEW 6-person hot tub, amazing morning sunrises, updated basement w/ bunkbeds and plenty of games for families and friends, an outdoor firepit w/ picnic table for smore's and more – our cabin has something for everyone. Just minutes to downtown, you'll find Christmas tree farms, amazing food, shopping, and breweries - come have the ultimate mountain getaway! The cabin invites you into the main floor where you enter into the cozy living room with electric fireplace and SmartTV as well as the dining area and fully stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs. The main floor has two(2) bedrooms with Queen beds and one full bathroom. The sliding doors lead you out to the main deck with additional outdoor dining table and seating along with a propane grill. Wake up and enjoy your morning coffee on the deck with the beautiful sunrises or relax throughout the day enjoying the cool mountain air or in the evening with our wraparound deck lighting. The upstairs provides another Queen bedroom with it's own full bathroom. The views that await you in the morning looking out the A-frame windows are a perfect way to start the day. The updated finished basement is a great space for families and groups with kids to have their own space as well. There are two sets of twin bunk beds, a nice big comfy couch in its own living area with SmartTV, an extra table and chairs for all of your games and puzzles and it's own electric fireplace heater. There are plenty of games and puzzles provided but feel free to bring your favorites. The basement has its own full bathroom with stand-up shower as well as its own exit/access to the bottom deck. On this level is a laundry room with full size washer and dryer. On the bottom deck you will find our brand NEW 6-person Hot Tub for your ultimate relaxation. Turn on the wrap around deck lighting for the ultimate night time ambience. You'll find firewood provided on the bottom deck that leads up the path to the circled parking area over to the Outdoor Fire Pit with chairs and Picnic Table for making s'mores and memories by the fire. *Please note there is no A/C at the cabin, most find the mountain temperatures comfortable throughout the year without it, all rooms have ceiling fans and there are screen doors on the sliding deck doors to allow the mountain breeze in throughout the day while keeping any bugs out **We host many trips for guests attending weddings in the area and for larger groups, we have another cabin on the same mountain just minutes apart, simply link to our bio page for our other listing called 'View & Far Between'. We are nestled near the top of the mountain in the Ashe Lake Community, the only lake in Ashe County just a few miles from historic West Jefferson. This quaint town is home to Christmas tree farms, shopping, rafting, the Ashe Cheese factory, the Church of the Frescos, scenic hiking trails, and many other wonderful adventures. Boone is only 30 minutes away and access to the Blue Ridge Parkway is only 10 minutes away from the cabin. I do have a property manager locally in the area that is available in case guests need anything Ashe Lake Community of West Jefferson, NC is a private community with a private lake, the only lake in the entire county. The lake has fishing access per a dock at one end of the lake as well as access for any non-motorized boats such as kayaks or canoes. Most of the year, 4WD or AWD is NOT necessary to get up to the house. However, if there is snow or ice, you MUST have 4WD or AWD to get up the final mountain to the house, but easily done in any vehicle any other time other than snow or icy winter conditions. Parking is provided in the circular drive at the cabin and can fit 3-4 vehicles depending on the size of vehicles. Most of the year, 4WD or AWD is NOT necessary to get up to the house. However, if there is snow or ice, you MUST have 4WD or AWD to get up the final mountain road to the house, but easily done in any vehicle any other time other than snow or icy winter conditions.
