The view is incredible from this property. One lane gravel road that turns to asphalt just before the house, but we'll worth the ride. Extremely well stocked with everything you could need. Very secluded. We had a lot of bugs but .maybe that's a seasonal thing.

Amazing cabin and location! Loved the nearby downtown area of West Jefferson, checked out Old Barn Winery and played golf at Mountain Aire Golf Course. Gary was a great host and we couldn’t have asked for better accommodations.

My husband, our dog, and I had the best time at this cabin! It was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The location was peaceful and perfect for relaxing, and our pup loved exploring, too —we’ll definitely be back!

If you're thinking about renting this cabin, do it!! Not only are the views amazing but it's probably one of the most well stocked rentals I've ever stayed in with books, Blu-rays, puzzles, games and a beautiful kitchen. Comfy bed with an assortment of pillows. The owner sent an email before check-in with all the details plus tips for finding the house, which were very helpful since we arrived after dark. We found our new vacation spot and look forward to staying here again.

We stay a few times a year in vrbo rentals and my wife always says that we should stay somewhere different each time. This is the first time that she said that she would like to stay at Stargazer again. Thanks Gary!

Cozy Hideaway

We loved Stargazer! We live a couple of hours away and just needed a cozy place to hang for our wedding anniversary with our pup. This place was well stocked and everything worked great! The views are incredible and stargazing from the hot tub was perfect.

This was the cleanest cabin I have ever rented beautiful location with amazing views. Hot tub was amazing as well. The kitchen was very spacious and had pretty much everything we needed. I was also able to get groceries delivered, which was very nice and convenient. There were many parks in the surrounding area to visit and hike. The cabin had many games and puzzles as well as TVs for entertainment. We loved hanging out on the deck, our dog did as well.

The most relaxation I have had in years

The beauty of this cabin is only surpassed by the beauty of the surroundings. This was the spot perfect for a relaxing weekend. Being able to be isolated at the cabin and yet a quick drive to town if you need something makes it ideal and convenient. Even my super picky 16 year old had a good time.
