What a wonderful time we had exploring, hiking and relaxing. Great property. If remote, private and pack is what you are after, I highly recommend this property. The screened porch is amazing. The information provided was on point. Overall fantastic experience.
We sat on the back porch with our dog everyday listening to the creek. It was such a peaceful & relaxing get away. We went to hike and see waterfalls throughout the day and would come back to the house to hangout and relax.
Had a great stay here. House was clean and well-supplied with everything I needed. Beautiful property in a secluded area. Firepit by the water was terrific. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.
This is a very special cabin. It's perfect if you want to get away and have quiet time. I say "quiet", but it's not actually quiet since you have the constant, wonderful sound of waterfalls in Spillcorn Creek right next to the house. The pictures on the website don't do the house justice. It's very comfortable with a wonderful ambience. It's also a great place for dogs with a safe field to play in and water right there to splash in. I would highly recommend this cabin in you are wanting to hold up in the woods for a while. Not great for trips in and from town, but that's not what we were looking for.
Relaxing surroundings and well appointed cabin, we enjoyed our stay. Loved having the option to hike, camp, and play in the creek right on property. Owners were very responsive to minor issues encountered during our stay. Would return!
We had a wonderful stay in Marshall! The property was clean, check in easy, and the creek was so relaxing. We really loved the screened in porch too, highly recommend!!
the house was very nice and it’s way up in the mountain very private and secluded the stream along the property is beautiful and the water fall sounds are very relaxing when you’re hanging out on the screen porch
A very relaxing stay. The little creek was fun to fish. The house was very nice comfortable beds. The screen deck was nice place to hang out in the rain. Would definitely come back!
We stayed only 2 short nights, but it really was perfect! The weather allowed us to enjoy the screen porch and windows open all night to hear the river and falls -- so relaxing and quite magical!! We were able to fish a little and take some nice walks around the property with our dog -- no leash, its so nice!! The cabin is super comfortable with everything you need, lots of nice touches that made me feel at home!! This is definitely a place to come if you love nature and quiet, peaceful vacations! Would love to come stay for longer next time!!
Very impressed with your home! It had everything we needed and the home was stocked with everything we needed. It was wonderful. It is a little far out but we enjoyed the ride and the beautiful sights. Thank you for sharing.
This place was perfect for my Husband and I celebrating our wedding anniversary! The host were absolutely great and so kind, everything was so beautiful and relaxing! We would definitely recommend this to anyone!
We had a great time at Elysium falls. Property was neat as a pin and very flexible. Great hiking and additional camping space at the top of the mountain with quiet Appalachian seclusion and the sounds of nature. We also did a lot of fly fishing in the creek having caught several small rainbows and a 12" brown. Great host/hostess...highly recommended!
My family and i had a wonderful relaxing stay at Elysium Falls. The house was clean and perfect for our family of four. The property was beautiful and our kids loved playing in the water and exploring in the woods. The property js pretty far out (which is what we wanted) but close enough to Asheville and Hot Springs to take day trips. Overall great experience!
We had a great weekend at Elysium Falls. It is perfectly located next to a beautiful river and has a private hiking trail on the property. We brought our two dogs and really enjoyed some off leash time. We made the hike up to the camping area twice and spent an afternoon exploring the river. We built a fire at the fire pit and made smores, and enjoyed drinking our morning coffee on the porch. We also explored downtown Marshall and the Sandy Bottom Gem Mine. The house itself had everything we needed to cook and be comfortable. It was a great weekend.
Our family booked Elysium Falls for our Thanksgiving celebration. The cabin had everything we could have needed or wanted.
The kitchen was full stocked with all the needed appliances to cook a full thanksgiving meal.
The secluded area with the creek and hiking trails offered a great retreat with family.
We would all recommend a stay.
The sound of rushing water combined with the daybed on the screened in porch requires extreme willpower to force yourself to do anything other than sleep.
Many times when you rent a place it turns out to be not as nice as the pictures. Elysium Falls was actually much nicer than the pictures made it out to be. My husband and I enjoyed sitting on the screened-in porch and listening to the little waterfall in the creek below the house, and when it came time to cook, the kitchen had every utensil, pan, and pot we could have wished for. We enjoyed being away from everything and have already made return reservations for the fall. All in all, it was a perfect place for a quiet and relaxed trip.
Cabin was beautifully appointed and just what the Dr. ordered for this family. You felt right at home the minute you stepped in the door. And the sound of the creek from the porch put my wife right to sleep after a hectic work seminar she put on the week prior.
Kids love playing in the creek.
