Seaside Two Bedroom Suite - Grande Bay Resort, St. John

Welcome to SEASIDE at Grande Bay Resort! Located on beautiful St. John, also known as the jewel of the U.S. Virgin Islands. St. John is a volcanic island offering white sand beaches, turquoise waters, mountain vistas and historical ruins. The Virgin Islands National Park encompasses over half of the island's nineteen square miles. Surrounded by coral reefs and seagrass beds, St. John offers excellent snorkeling from shore as well as diving excursions. If you prefer to hike, there are over twenty maintained hiking trails for your enjoyment.

Your home away from home at Grande Bay is located WATERFRONT and offers an unobstructed view of Cruz Bay Harbor. Enjoy breakfast or dinner on the balcony while listening to the waves lapping the shoreline. For you convenience, our condo can be reserved as a two bedroom unit with a full kitchen and two bathrooms, a one bedroom unit with a full kitchen and one bathroom or as a studio unit with a kitchenette and full bathroom. We offer three private balconies to enjoy the outdoors and also a shared pool deck with swimming pool and hot tub. The resort also offers a spacious exercise room with new equipment (even a Pilates machine!) that offers ocean views. Grande Bay is staffed 24 hours a day to answer any questions you may have or assist with your vacation.

Having the convenient location of being right in Cruz Bay allows you to walk to shops, restaurants, bars and even some beaches at your leisure. We also provide a reserved parking space in our covered and secure garage if you prefer to rent a vehicle. The parking space is reserved for the one bedroom suite or when the entire two bedroom suite is rented. It is not available for the studio suite.

Perfect location and comfortable stay.

The Seaside Two Bedroom Suite was perfect for our trip with three adults. Well stocked kitchen, beach chairs and coolers, comfy beds and cold ac! What a pretty view of Cruz Bay right from the porch area. The convenience of being able to walk to dinner can’t be beat! Hope we can come and stay again!

Two couples escaping the snow

Wonderful from start to finish! We really liked the lockout we could be right next to our friends but not sharing the actual same space. Beautiful view from the balcony and the studio side was clean and comfortable and our friends agreed that their one bedroom was also well appointed clean uncomfortable. Owner was great with communication. Would definitely rent this unit again.

Our favorite place on earth

This was our second time renting from Tracy. We absolutely love this condo. It’s on the first floor so easy access in and out. They have thought of everything. Nice beach chairs and cooler provided to make days at the gorgeous beaches just perfect. The kitchen is well stocked. The beds are comfortable, and the unit is always clean. We will continue to stay here for years to come.

The location of our 2bedroom suite was unbeatable. Beautiful views and easy walk to town. The suite was well equipped, tastefully decorated, comfortable furniture and was very clean. We just can’t say enough good things about the accommodations at the Seaside 2 Bedroom suite and the owners Tracy and Juice who make it a great place to stay. Their top priority is to make sure your visit is memorable. Our stay was relaxing, memorable and exciting. We will absolutely return!!

Location, location, location

Beautifully decorated condo located just minutes from ferry and everything you want to do. Tracy is wonderful to work with and the front desk ladies were so delightful as well. We found island so enchanting and even with festival going on ! We had no idea we picked the week of festival until Tracy told us. Beautiful beaches , so much shopping, hiking and yummy restaurants close by. We rented both sides of condo for the four of us. So much space which was lovely. Condo had chairs and ice chests, which we used. We rented snorkel equipment down the road which was so convenient . AC worked wonderfully and we loved the washer and dryer to do a load coming off a week long catamaran trip. Would 100 percent stay again.

Perfect Place to Stay, Perfect Location in Cruz Bay

We were seeking a great place to stay within a short walk to Cruz Bay with all of its shops, restaurants and convenient access to the ferry dock. We found it at Seaside Properties at Grand Bay Resort. Our connected condo suites were perfectly situated on the 2nd floor of the property with sweeping views of the bay and excellent alignment to view awesome sunsets. Beautifully appointed and stocked with everything you need to make your stay complete, the owners are wonderful to work with and very accommodating as are the front desk staff and maintenance personnel. When we make our next trip to St. John, we will be repeat customers for sure!

Fabulous Stay at Grande Bay !

This condo was perfect for our family's needs. The unit is clean, updated and has all the amenities needed. Comfortable beds, full kitchen, washer/dryer. The A/C and fans made for very comfortable sleeping environment. The balcony of the unit faces Cruz Bay where the view is gorgeous while having morning coffee or a casual meal. Short walk to town, grocery stores,& restaurants. Also close to hiking trails, car rentals or taxis. Lovely rooftop pool with a gorgeous view and hot tub as well. The owners were extremely helpful and we had wonderful communication from start to finish. Looking forward to our next trip back to St. John ! Highly recommend.

Clean and well located but NOT a full service resort.

The staff at Grand Bay were not service oriented at all. There was no housekeeping service during our five day stay and we had to make up a bed when we arrived at 1:00 AM. A "greeter" met us at the ferry landing but didn't offer to help us with our six heavy bags, which we had to haul through the streets of St. John after 7 hours of travel. The greeter didn't know where our unit was located so we had to carry our bags in and out of three elevators before she figured out which one it was. Our only other experience staying in the USVI has been the Ritz Carlton residences - the two do not compare! If we come back to stay on St. John, we will choose Caneel Bay or the Westin.

Awesome 2 Bedroom/Studio Condo at Grande Bay Resort

Three girlfriends & I spent 6 days & 5 nights here enjoying the beautiful new condo and resort. I was amazed at the quality of the building structure and the beauty of the unit. The photos & description accurately describe the condo & resort. And I would go so far as to state that the photos don't do it justice. You don't appreciate all the amenities until you see and use them for yourself. The view from the balcony over looking the ocean was breathtaking. We would sit at the table & take it all in every morning. The location is quiet and appeared to be very safe as well as very close to the bustling town for shopping, dining & nightlife activities. We walked just a few blocks every night to enjoy the culture of St. John. The owner even went so far as to have beach chairs, beach towels, coolers, etc for us to use. Having the washer and dryer in the room was very convenient as we took showers & changed our clothes at least twice a day. The parking space is a plus since it could be challenging trying to find a parking spot in the area at certain times. The pool and hot tub area is spectacular if you'd rather spend an afternoon there instead of the beach. All in all, I can't imagine anyone wanting or needing any other amenities since it is all provided right here at Grande Bay Resort. I have recommened this resort, in fact, this particular unit to friends and relatives. I am looking forward to returning to this paradise one day.

A wonderful, comfortable home base from which to explore St. John

This is our fourth time on St. John. We usually rent a house somewhere on the island that makes renting a jeep necessary. This time, for a romantic getaway without the kids, we decided on Grande Bay. There is so much we loved about this particular condo. The location was phenomenal; we loved the short walk to Cruz Bay in the evenings after a day at the beach. The view from the terrace is outstanding--beautiful blue water with peaceful waves, plus some fun people and boat watching too! Our favorite Rum Runners or Lime in de Coconuts were only steps away! Stepping out on the deck we could hear Caribbean music and smell wonderful food. But when we closed the sliding doors it was quiet and peaceful. This is the first time we've stayed at a place with central air conditioning and it was absolutely decadent after a long day in the sun. The pool had a great view, minimal people there, and we had the hot tub all to ourselves. The bed was extremely comfortable, the amenities first class, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The downside? We would have liked a few more hooks and shelves to store our stuff, more rugs to wipe our feet at the door and store our shoes. We had the one-bedroom option, and wouldn't want to stay with any more than two people since the one bathroom can only be accessed through the bedroom. A few times we heard our neighbors staying in the attached studio. Pretty minor stuff really. All in all we would highly recommend this property and will likely return ourselves.

Beautiful, Clean, Comfortable and Amazing Views

We loved Tracy Pajewski's condos. They were clean, comfortable abd appropriately stocked with necessities. Grande Bay is so convenient to town , having a parking spot saved us so much $, on-sight management is quick and courteous if needed and the views are amazing. One of our fav things to do was to drink our coffee on the porch in the am and watch the boats coming and going. We enjoyed a lot of the North Shore beaches and the restaurants in town were wonderful. I would not hesitate to rent again from Tracy. We absolutely loved it!!!

Beautiful place with great location

My husband and I shared the 2 BR with another couple and couldn't have asked for a better place. The location and the amenities and services that Grande Bay offers is exceptional! We order groceries ahead of time and they put it in our refrigerator so it was all ready when we arrived. We did a jeep rental and they delivered and picked up directly from our parking spot! Great pool and jacuzzi and gym! Both beds and bathrooms and equally beautiful and the kitchen is equipped with anything you would need for the week! We'll be back soon!

Seaside takes relaxing to a whole new level!

My wife and I have been coming to St. John for several years now. The last two years we have brought the family and stayed at Seaside. The location is perfect if you want to have easy access to downtown. Tracy makes the process so effortless! Seaside has virtually everything you need to make you feel right at home. After a long day of exploring the beautiful island, it's great to have such a wonderful and relaxing place waiting for you! We have stayed at other locations, but Seaside has truly been our favorite. Love Seaside!!

My wife and I have been to St. John three times, and on each visit we have stayed at Grande Bay. This year we asked good friends to join us so the 2BR setup at Seaside worked perfectly. We loved everything about Seaside - the views from the private balconies, the convenient location, the extensive list of amenities, the spacious accommodations, and the friendly staff/landlord all helped make this another memorable vacation. We wouldn't think of staying anywhere else on the island!

Great Condo

We just spent 10 wonderful days at this condo in Grande Bay. We started out with friends and rented the one bedroom as well as the studio. Once they left, we stayed in the studio. First of all the condo was very nice and clean! All of the amenities that you could want were there. Was also nice to have coolers and beach chairs. The studio was also well equipped with everything - plus a washer & dryer! Very convenient to walk everywhere - bars, restaurants, shopping, etc . . .Would definitely recommend and look forward to coming back! And the view was spectacular.

Absolutely perfect condo with an ideal location

Our week in St. John was wonderful! We had our family of 8 stay in this condo and it was perfect! Tracy is so great to work with and really makes you feel at home. The amenities at the Grande Bay are beautiful, the condo has everything you need and more, the location is ideal and we can't wait to go back and use Tracy's condo again! We arrived by ferry on Saturday around dinner. We walked the very short walk to the condo, unpacked and went to dinner. You can't ask for a better location. Tracy has thought of everything and there was nothing we ever wished we had. We used the coolers and beach chairs every day we went to the beach. We had a parking spot in the garage for the 3 days we rented a car. The only reason you would need a car is if you want to travel to the beaches on the other side of St. John. Again this place is perfect and we can't thank Tracy enough for our wonderful family vacation!

Family Vacation

Stayed here for a week with my husband and grown children. Was familiar with the area having stayed at Grande Bay before. The condo was exactly as pictured and the owner a pleasure to work with. We rented a jeep through Grande Bay and I highly recommend them. There are many good restaurants on the island but our favorites were Rhumb Lines and Banana Deck. Casual dining on the water would be The Beach Bar and Joes Rum Hut. I had Starfish Market provision our condo for a small fee because we did not have a car for the first few days. We rented a dinghy one day from Noahs Little Arks which is right in front of the condo. That was a great day. Another day we took a boat over to B.V.I. and stayed the whole day on White Bay. I highly recommend doing that also. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect in every way!

We stayed at Seaside and used both bedrooms for our visit. We had 4 adults and one child. It worked out perfectly. The condo is in a great location, within walking distance to restaurants, shopping and anything that you would need in Cruz Bay. We have never been able to do this before in our 9 years of visiting - and we loved it. We did rent a jeep, but in the evenings, just walked everywhere we needed to go. Both the one bedroom and the studio had everything that we needed for our visit. The units were clean and comfortable. The furntiture and beds were wonderful and the kitchen was fully stocked. Both units also have great views. You can lay in bed and listen to the waves. WONDERFUL. Tracy was fantastic to work with and Rachelle, who is onsite was very helpful also. The staff at Grande Bay was always available for questions and the amenitites for the location at great. The pool area also has a great view. Thank you Tracy for your hospitality and for making our family vacation to STJ our best one yet. We can't wait to stay with you again next year. We highly recommend this property, even though I would like to keep it a secret and all to myself.

We have been visitors to St. John since our first trip in February of 2002. Since that visit, we have been back at least once a year and have shared the island with our children, friends and family members. We know that we are blessed to be able to realize our dream of owning property on St. John. We feel that we have found our place in paradise and we love sharing it with others.

Why they chose this property

We searched for years for the perfect place on St. John and came to love Grande Bay. The location right in town can not be beat. For us, the perfect day includes making breakfast, heading to a beach or two then coming home to clean up and head out to enjoy dinner. Grande Bay provides us with all the amenities of home with a full kitchen, large showers, comfortable furnishings and an easy walk to the perfect restaurant or bar. We know that you will love it as much as we do!

What makes this property unique

When we have the opportunity to stay at Grande Bay, we enjoy having breakfast on the balcony while listening to the waves and watching Cruz Bay come to life. We love taking the beach chairs and coolers to a different beach each day and snorkeling or hiking up to Ram Head or along another amazing trail. We enjoy all the comforts of home along with staff that will assist us or answer any questions we might have. If we decide to forgo the beach, we have the option of relaxing on the pool deck and enjoying the pool and hot tub. We especially like parking our rental car and walking into town less than 100 yards for a delicious meal or island drink.
