Jane, thanks so much for the encouraging review! Thanks again for booking with us. - Scott and Margie
We enjoyed the proximity to Harpers Ferry and nearby hiking trails. The balcony overlooking the Potomac was a welcome bonus. The kitchen was well-equipped and a nice place to hang out while preparing breakfast. The hosts were very responsive and always answered our emails. We had a great stay. It is a very good value for the price.
The cottage is cozy, clean and offers a beautiful view of the mountains and river. It’s conveniently located 10 minutes from Harper’s Ferry. The kitchen was adequately equipped for simple meals. The community park along the river, accessible down the backyard hill or road, is great for kids to play or to have a fire and has bathrooms available.

Thanks so much for your encouraging review, Danielle!
The house was great and we truly appreciated the amenities and products left for us, especially the feminine care products. I will say we did notice some of the dishes were not completely clean and stove had a lot of dead bugs on it. The light above in the stove hood has a ton of dead bug inside it which i think might be where they are coming from. Aside from that, the property was fantastic, beautiful location, we loved the deck, and it was great to be so close to harpers ferry.

Oh no! Bugs! Thank you so much for alerting us to the problem, Emily; we located it and remedied it. I'm glad you had a great stay despite the unwanted critters!
Our family spent Christmas at this wonderful home, and it was the perfect holiday getaway. The house itself is incredibly cozy, but the real highlights were the magnificent views and the easy river access—which the anglers in our group loved for some holiday fishing! We spent our evenings staying warm around the fire pit, soaking in the atmosphere. The hosts were excellent and made us feel right at home. We highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful, cozy retreat!!
Although I never met my hostess, the cottage stay was easy to book and just as advertised. Fantastic views, well stocked kitchen, and a personal greeting on wet board. Gas fireplace was warm and cozy.
