We had a wonderful stay at this beach house! The home was spotless when we arrived and clearly very well cared for. The proximity to the beach was incredible—just steps away—which made it so easy to go back and forth throughout the day.
Our family throughly enjoyed our time here, seeing the beautiful sunrises, listening to the ocean and being able to see the rocket launches. It was perfect!
Really amazing place. There are very few quiet beaches left in Florida and this is one of them. The house easily accommodated our group of 12. Our group raged from 4 to 70. Tanging from
We stayed with our young kids (ages 3 and 4) and this private, unique beachfront home in Melbourne Beach was exactly what we needed for a relaxing family vacation. The home is literally right on the sand, which made accessing the ocean unbeatable. We could step out and be in the water in seconds. The large back patio on the second floor was our favorite spot; we spent so much time up there just enjoying the ocean breeze, watching the waves, and relaxing without ever needing to walk down to the beach. The beach itself is mostly private with no car access, which felt so much safer and more peaceful than the beaches farther north that allow vehicles (no constant lookout for kids darting around cars!). The house was very clean, well-equipped with everything a family could need, and matched the photos. The only things worth noting: the location is about 10 minutes from Publix and 20 minutes to restaurants/shopping. This was ideal for our escape. Also, the steep spiral staircase between the lower and upper levels was a bit challenging with our little ones. We managed, but it required extra caution. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay. Highly recommend this home for anyone seeking a quiet, direct beachfront experience with the whole family!
I can't wait to book again. the view is breathtaking. to hear the waves crashing on shore made my sleep so deep and restful. the home is well appointed with all the fixings. to walk at night and the morning on the beach is priceless
Great location for those looking for beach side relaxation with family. You can easily accomendate part of the family downstairs with its own kitchen, two bedrooms and bath. Accomendations worked prefectly for grandchildren and their parents there and rest of the family upstairs with full kitchen and wonderful view of the waves crashing on the beach. Everyone who stayed there and all the family that came to visit loved the place. Really appreciated having a gate to close and keep our dog safe in the yard. Even if he did manage to escape to run on the beach by himself. It would have been nice to have more clothes / towels, and cleaning supplies in the kitchen. We like to be able to clean counters and floors after each meal but had to resort to paper towels. Kinda wasteful. Some better knives and utensils would be great, however I understand that not all renters take proper care of those items so it may not be worth the investment.I think the host Obed was very caring and accomendating. Made me feel like I was renting from a friend. I would definately stay here again.
