Take it easy at this updated peaceful condo in the heart of Summit Village within Shanty Creek Resort. Condo is located on a bluff overlooking the 18th hole of the Legend Golf Course. Just a short distance you can take in daily sunsets at a Private Beach Club on Lake Bellaire. The seasonal beach club features lounge chairs, covered pavilion, game room, grills, playground, basketball and pickle ball court. You also have access to a hot tub and Indoor/outdoor pool within a 5 minute walk at the Lakeview Hotel. An additional more private outdoor pool is just a short drive away at Pinebrook. Condo is fully stocked with everything you need. Take the resort shuttle to the beach club, area restaurants and downtown Bellaire. Walking distance to Starbucks, Lakeview Hotel, Summit and Legend Golf Club house, Disc golf course, Sarducci's Creekside Italian Restaurant, 2 lounges and tubing hill.

The space:
The condo can be divided into many options. Either a 1, 2, 3 or combo option rental depending on what is best for you. (This listing includes all 3 units). Message me if interested in smaller room options.

The main room- includes a fully stocked kitchen, dishwasher, dining table and sit up bar area, double murphy bed, bright living space, fireplace, porta crib, full bathroom, private deck and entrance.

Each side can be accessed from main room or private entrance:
One side consists of a king sized bed, full bath, private deck, kitchenette (microwave, mini fridge, sink, dishes, coffee maker, coffee), sitting and workspace area. .

Other side consists of two queen beds, full bath, kitchenette (microwave, mini fridge, sink, dishes, coffee maker, coffee), bistro table for 2 with workspace area.

All decks overlook the 18th hole of the Legend Golf Course. Guests can enjoy complimentary WiFi with no password required and each television is set up with Roku.

For loading and unloading: 2 steps from the parking lot.
Directly to the right the 3 end units are all yours to enjoy with private entrances (#789, #790, #791)

Other things to note:
Shanty Creek provides free transportation to Pinebrook pool, Private Beach Club, all the villages, golfing, skiing and downtown Bellaire. Contact Lakeview Hotel for shuttle times.

Summer: You have access to a seasonal pool at Pinebrook, indoor and outdoor pool and hot tub at Lakeview Hotel. Just a 5 minute walk. Private Beach Club on Lake Bellaire offers lounge chairs, covered pavilion, game room, outdoor games, playground, basketball court, pickle ball court and BBQ grills - perfect remote beach area! Great place to catch a sunset!! Balloons over Bellaire in late August. Kayaking and hiking at Grass River, biking, sight seeing and more.

Wintertime, take the shuttle or drive a short distance to Schuss Mountain to ski and relax at the indoor pool. Steps away from the Summit Tubing hill, 2-lounges, restaurants and playground. There is even a cross country trail right outside your door.

Great family getaway

We took our family skiing and had a nice stay at the Shanty Creek Condo. It was clean, well-equipped, and plenty of space for us to space out. It was like two adjoining hotel rooms with a living room and kitchen, much better than any hotel. Thanks for the stay, we’ll be back!

Great place for up north visit

We really enjoyed staying at this condo located within Shanty Creek. It was very clean and fit our needs perfectly. Kids enjoyed swimming in the pools and we were able to do a lot of exploring of beautiful northern Michigan. Holly was great to deal with and answered any questions we had. I highly recommend her and the condo. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

We loved our weekend at Hollys condo. Perfect location with walking distance to resort amenities. Spent the day at the private beach club and spent time at the outdoor pool as well. Loved the free shuttle to downtown Bellaire. Holly was extremely responsive to messages and had all sorts of suggestions for our weekend. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Bellaire

My family and I recently had a fantastic stay here. This unit is in the shanty creek resort and close to downtown Bellaire, as well as shanty town which both have great restaurants and a fantastic vibe. Holly was very informative and responsive to all questions as well as offered additional information about the area proactively. The property was clean, nicely furnished and maintained. Some additional amenities such as coffee, lovely plush towels and a great view over a golf hole were very appreciated! I’d recommend this place to anyone.

Loved our stay!

We loved our stay and recommended the property to several other friends. We are visiting family in the area for the Fourth of July and we wanted to be near torch lake. This property was perfect for us, very affordable and the way the space is set up there was room for my daughter and her friends to have their own separate room with a kitchenette, bathroom and separate entrance. We also had our own kitchenette, bath and separate entrance so we could come and go without waking each other. Both rooms were joined by a third common living space with a pull out couch, kitchen, bath, deck and entrance. There were also three separate decks. This was great for us as I’m an early riser and the girls like to stay up late. I could do my workout and they could come in late - everyone had their own space. I could see my sisters and I loving this space with our significant others next year - we will be back for sure! Holly was also super helpful and responsive when we had the wrong pool pass for the pool. This will be our Torch Lake go to place to stay!

Perfect "home base" for a family vacation

This unit is a gem. Perfect setup and location for a family vacation. The two bedroom / common area design couldn't have been better for our family. Just enough privacy for everyone, but great family feel. We had five and it always felt like plenty of space. It's nicely decorated without being over the top. We were traveling with a toddler so not having a lot of knick knacks to worry about was a real plus. Condo was supplied with everything we needed in kitchen and bathrooms. All the TVs having Roku was a real plus for keeping the little one entertained. Pools and beach access are a real plus for enjoying the vacation. Location is great. Walking distance to Shanty Creek food, drink, and pool. Easy access to Bellaire for groceries, restaurants, and entertainment. Torch and Clam lakes right down the road. "Up North" feel, but less than an hour to Traverse City. Communication with owners is always a big deal to me. Holly as GREAT! Proactive with information, guide books and information in the rooms, and super fast responsiveness to my questions via VRBO app. Made the rental is easy as could be. We visit the area annually and this property will be my first choice next time for our home-away-from-home.

The town of Bellaire is quaint and a hidden secret. We enjoy all the restaurants, shops and taverns. Shanty Creek resorts has given our children many years of great skiing experiences. We hope to influence others with the joy Bellaire has brought to our family.

What makes this property unique

Our condo is a new purchase for us in the fall on 2022. What intrigued us to purchase it was the hot air balloon launch. Upon our arrival the quaint Summit Village community made you feel right at home, from the musician playing in a common area to the great pizza and beverages at The Shack. All of this is within a 3 minute walk from our condo. The condo sits overlooking the 18th hole of The Legend golf course. It is very quiet here which is why turkeys and deer are wandering through our parking lot.
