Perfect two bedroom, two bathroom condo for your next up north getaway. Located at Shanty Creek resort and overlooking Shanty Creek out the back door. Close to the 5 resort golf courses and Schuss Mountain. Close to the boat launch on Lake Bellaire and the Torch Lake chain of lakes. The condo is a ground floor two bedroom, two bathroom unit with full kitchen with place settings for up to eight people. Unit had laundry facilities in unit. Master suite has jetted tub for two & separate stall shower. Second bedroom has queen bed. All beds fitted with linens, pillows and blankets. Main bathroom has combo tub / shower with towels, wash cloths and hand soap. Bring your own body wash, shampoo & conditioner. Spectrum Cable in living room and secure WiFi network provided. Bedroom TVs are Smart TVs with streaming capability.

Area activities include:
Shanty Creek Resort Skiing, Snow Tubing, Golf, Swimming, Lake Bellaire Beach House access.

Boating & Kayaking. (bring your own or rentals available in area) on the Lake Bellaire / Torch Lake chain of lakes

Grass River Nature Area (hiking)

Comfortable, nicely decorated two bedroom condo with beautiful wood views out the wall of sliding glass doors. The master bedroom has a terrific large jetted tub. The second bedroom is tucked and private from the main living space. The gas fireplace lit easily and added such ambiance! Kitchen has the essentials needed to cook meals for a relaxing stay in a lovely area.

We had a wedding in the area and wanted to stay together. We used the bedrooms - and the pull out couch. It was actually comfortable! The whole weekend experience was great!

Property was good and was just as the online listing. It was clean and neat with all the provisions needed for our 4 day/3 night stay. We found it convenient to the areas we were looking to explore. We love this part of Michigan, and we have never been to Torch Lake/Bellaire Lake, and found it to be charming. We also spent a day in Petosky as well as a day on Mackinac Island.The only disappointment with the condo was that the sink in the front bathroom did not work; no water. Discovered that the faucet had a major leak and the owner explained that he knew about the problem but failed to let us know.If we ever decide to visit again, we would definitely consider this unit or others in the complex.

The condo was very clean, which I appreciate. The bed was also comfortable. I had no back pain whatsoever. However we did a few issues with the maintenance of the condo. Two of the issues were minor, and one issue was a pretty big deal that caused us to have to cut our vacation short and leave early. The central air conditioning unit just stopped working completely and it was extremely hot in Bellaire this time of year. We left a day early because the indoor temperature was 78 degrees. The owner of the condo was aware of the issue prior to us arriving. I wasn't too happy about that. He did give us a partial refund for our inconvenience, which I was grateful for that.To summarize, with so many Vrbo rentals available in the Bellaire area, I would not book with this owner again because he knew that the air conditioning was having issues (along with the bathroom sink faucet not working), and he did not inform us prior to our stay.
