Welcome to your Northern Michigan getaway! This comfortable **2-bedroom, 1-bath condo sleeps up to 6 guests** and is perfectly located for skiing, golfing, and enjoying everything Shanty Creek and Northern Michigan have to offer.

The condo comfortably accommodates families and groups with:

Golf Course Views from Your Deck

Step outside onto the deck and enjoy a beautiful view overlooking the **Schuss golf course**. We've recently added a **cute outdoor table and four chairs**, creating the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee, relax after a round of golf, or simply take in the scenery.

Steps from Skiing & Winter Fun

Location is everything, and this condo puts you right in the middle of the action.

You're **just across from the Schuss slopes and Ivan's Mountain Side Grill**, where you can grab a bite to eat and enjoy live entertainment on select winter weekends.

The **Schuss Village pool and Ivan's** are also just a short walk across the parking lot. The pool operates seasonally in both summer and winter, while Ivan's is open during ski season.

Ski, Golf & Explore

Schuss Mountain is known for some of the best skiing in Michigan, with **53 runs across two mountains**, including a terrain park. Shanty Creek is also a fantastic destination for golfers, with the condo located right on the Schuss course.

It was a lot smaller than appears in the pictures. You cannot open the door fully in the bunkbed room. The sink in the room is odd and the kids had no room to walk around just climb into bed. The sliding doors in that room cannot be opened. The king size bed was fine but the room is in the front when you open the outside door. It was more like a studio room rather than a 2 bdrm condo. The refrigerator was not full size, more mid size. Very little counter space but all the appliances worked that we used. There's a stove top but no oven. The property is nice, quiet and clean. However, the pool area was not very cleanly. The hot tub was not in use and the cover was broken. The bathrooms in the area were dirty and unusable. The card key to the pool didn't work all the time. TV's are WiFi but you must have streaming accounts to watch TV.

Location is great, golf, Proshop, chair lift for fall ride all walking distance. Had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Easy parking. No problem for us, but stairs, small fridge and no oven could be issue for some. Perfect for short stay in great area. We loved it.

The condo was a great home base for all our activities in the area. It's the off season so the resort was quiet and we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Some minor issues came up but Connie was quick to address and provide solutions. The back patio was very peaceful with the view of the pond. Comfortable bed and well stocked kitchen. Would stay again!

Communication and check in process was excellent. Host was very accommodating. The unit was very clean, accurately pictured and well stocked with everything needed. The pool and hot tub was awesome!! Only a 20 min drive to Torch Lake public access. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect family getaway

Great location to explore Torch Lake and Lake Bellaire. The access to the indoor and outdoor pools was great and perfect for the kids. The outdoor pool was beautiful. Condo was perfect size for our family of four.

A very nice stay. The condo was clean and comfortable for a family of 5. There is plenty to do in the area, so little time was actually spent at the condo. I was pleased with the boat parking across the street that was a factor for our trip. Even had security roll through a few times checking that lot. We had a few minor issues including internet that was not working and a missing pool pass, a leaking "P" trap under the sink, and we were only supplied one roll of TP for the bathroom which did not suffice for a family of 5 staying for 5 days. I requested the host to call me but instead she sent out her maintenance person to handle the issues. All issues were resolved quickly by the maintenance persons that the host contacted and I fixed the sink and bought more TP. Lastly, although I can not blame it on the host, but the locker room, sauna and facilities at the Schuss Mountain lodge are filthy. As an owner of a condo there and running a VRBO that includes those facilities, I would be complaining. Toilets overflowing with feces and mold, garbage dumpsters at capacity and staff that are certainly not doing there job. It was bad. The pool was nice (not heated), but surrounded by filth. The hot tub was also out of order. In general the place is run down and in need of repairs.

I am very sorry this guest did not have a 5 star stay. We are privately owned and not affiliated with Shanty Creek. We purchase a pool pass and allow guests to use it. It is not the greatest pool but usually suffices for kids. If you are choosing this condo because of the pool, please do not. Also he said he requested me to call him. I had staff right there in the building so I wanted to get them over there as soon as possible to remedy the issues. I messaged him. I did not call him but everything was taken care of so I did not think that was necessary. He did not let me know the sink was leaking so first I am seeing this is in this review. I have a maintenance person that would have come right over and fixed it. I always ask guests to let me make things right before it goes in a review. I am available and have staff close by.

Second stay - perfect location!

Our second time in this condo. It's the perfect spot for our annual ski weekend at Schuss - the blue and pinks lifts are visible from the condo. Night skis for the kids and cocktails at Ivan's for Mom and dad after a long day of skiing.

Great location!

Great property to stay for skiing! Property was comfortable and as described in the listing. Perfect for a family of four. Was missing a long lighter for the fireplace, and could have used more toilet paper for a family of four staying three nights, but overall a great place to stay and would book again.

Thank you for your review. We do leave a lighter in the condo but it must have been misplaced. I have updated my check in information to include that we so not supply fire starter supplies just in case however we do supply wood. We like to leave 2 rolls of toilet paper under the vanity in addition to what is on the roll. Again. Thank you!

Perfect for skiing

This property is a perfect base camp for lots of skiing and lots of skiing breaks. Clean, efficient and easily walkable from the pink lift. Also very quick walk across the street to the pool. Will visit again!

Good place for an Autumn Getaway

The condo had all the things needed for a short weekend getaway. It was clean and had what we needed. It is a little dated and could use a remodel, but that didn't detract from enjoying our weekend.

This is a great place!

Everything was very clean and well taken care off. Nothing outdated and no bad experiences at all. This place is very convenient to many different locations, shopping, restaurants, and water!! We had a great stay and will definitely reach out if we are in the area again.

Perfect location!

What a perfect little spot for our family ski weekend. A little snafu getting into the house, but with a quick phone call we were in. Well stocked, just enough space for the four of us to relax between hours on the slopes. We'll be back!

Why they chose this property

Cortina condos are in the heart of the village. Walk out the door and either golf or ski. The cross country trailhead is just behind us.
Ivans slopeside restaurant is just across the street. Although closed in the summer, it is hopping all winter with live entertainment every weekend.
Many guests use Schuss as a hub and travel to Traverse City, Petoskey, Charlevoix without paying the big prices.
Bring a boat. Parking lot next to building to park it.

What makes this property unique

Traveling with other families? I have 4 condos. I can usually find a spot for everyone. Travel together but have your own personal space.
My condos are kept very clean. Professionally cleaned between each guest stay.
