House was nice and clean. There were a couple of dirty plates in the cabinet that got overlooked. Beds are a bit hard and uncomfortable. Sugar ants are on the kitchen counter tops and got in our food. We had to keep our food products on the dining table. The stay was enjoyable and the house is cute and in a great location. Close to the main drag but far enough away that we weren’t bothered by noise and traffic. Inside the golf cart area.

Overall great experience!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It took quite a bit of time to cool down the house once we arrived however, once cooled, it was much more comfortable. House had plenty of space for our group and was clean and well kept.
Response from VrboOwner on 31 Jul 2025
Thank you for your review! We're glad to hear the house was clean, spacious, and well maintained for your group. We appreciate your note about the cooling time — on especially warm days, it can take a little while for the AC to catch up after the house has been vacant, but we’re glad it became comfortable once it cooled down. We hope to welcome you back again soon!

Great "in town" rental!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have never stayed in town before but were wanting to give it a try. We loved staying at Casa Tropical! Its close to everything, well appointed and its so nice having a little space around you as opposed to staying in a condo.

Beach trip

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay. Please add to the property description that guests need to bring all the ingredients they need for cooking (only things provided were salt and pepper) and preparing coffee. Also that they need to bring a cookie sheet to use in the oven. Other than that the place was great.

Good spot

Clean, nice place to stay not far from the ferry and convenient to everything in town. Would definitely recommend. My one small complaint would be that the security light from the garage shines into the master bedroom window, and I couldn't figure out how to shut it off. Really minor.

Ok but poor water pressure

The location was great and the property manager communicative but the bed was super creaky in the master. The water pressure was poor. Both bathtubs drained slowly but they did fix it during our stay,

Not The Best

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The only positive thing about this place was the location. It was very apparent that the house had not been swept or mopped, as there was hair and sand throughout the entire space. I ended up cleaning it myself for the comfort of the other guests. Additionally, the king-size bed was extremely noisy whenever you moved or lay down. Unfortunately, I would not choose to stay here again.

Tolerable

The house over all was not as comforting as I anticipated, when we arrived with the floor, mat, and bathtubs filled with sand. We had expected to receive a clean house but unfortunately we were mistaken. We had to take time out of our trip to clean, and reorganize. And the master bedroom had a dent that made it uncomfortable to sleep in. To finish it all off, my family found multiple cockroaches around the house the most concerning one was the one in the kitchen, and bathroom.

Average VRBO

The property is in a great location with plenty of parking. While the house is nicely updated, there were several things that were disappointing, especially for a 6 night stay. There were no trash bags provided. Both kitchen trash cans had no liner and none were provided. The kitchen provided basic needs but was lacking a can opener, which was a bummer to discover after we had already starting cooking dinner. There was only one extra roll of toilet paper provided. (Again, not sufficient for a 6 night stay.) The king bed in the primary bedroom was not comfortable and made a crunching sound anytime we moved at all, making it very hard to get good sleep. The property does not have enough seating for 6 people. The dining room table only has 5 chairs with no extra chairs anywhere in the house. I did leave a voicemail with the management office regarding trash bags, but did not receive a return call. Of course, it was not a big deal to go buy trash bags and toilet paper, but renters shouldn't have to.
