We built this home as a place to slow down and reconnect with nature, comfort and each other. We spend a lot of time here ourselves and designed it the way we like to live when we escape the busyness of everyday life. It is modern, comfortable and easy plus it is surrounded by water, wildlife, and open skies. On a clear night, stars gazing is well worth it!!
We enjoy cooking, grilling outdoors, sitting on the deck with coffee in the morning and ending the day by the pond watching the light change and the wildlife come out. Hosting came naturally to us because we want others to experience the same sense of calm and reset that this place gives us.
We’re hands-on hosts, detail-oriented and genuinely care that guests feel relaxed, comfortable, and well taken care of during their stay.
We enjoy cooking, grilling outdoors, sitting on the deck with coffee in the morning and ending the day by the pond watching the light change and the wildlife come out. Hosting came naturally to us because we want others to experience the same sense of calm and reset that this place gives us.

Why they chose this property
This neighborhood offers something that’s becoming rare in many areas mainly peace, space and real access to nature without feeling isolated. The neighborhood is quiet, friendly, and surrounded by water, with ponds, creeks and the Potomac River all within very short walking distance.
What we love most is how easy it is to step outside and be part of the landscape. You can walk to the beach in a minute, launch a kayak or paddleboard at the creek, fish off the nature's path dock, or simply sit and watch herons, ospreys, turtles on the pond and even the occasional otters on the creek or dolphins at the public beach.
It’s the kind of place where mornings are quiet, evenings are calm and days naturally slow down. At the same time, groceries, dining, and entertainment are an easy drive away, making it a perfect balance of countryside tranquility and convenience.
What we love most is how easy it is to step outside and be part of the landscape.
