This villa is located 100 yards from the beach. The Kiawah beach is 10 miles long and very wide at low tide. Sea turtles nest there and dolphins can often be seen playing just off shore.

The Treehouse Activity Center offers bowling, golf simulators, an art and craft studio, the Nature Center (with local animal exhibits), and an Arcade (with Skeeball, Air Hockey, basketball hoops, Mario Kart, and more). Boat and land tours can also be scheduled there.
The Perch (inside the Treehouse) is a pub/bar with a full food and snack menu.
There are miles and miles of trails throughout the island.
The Sanctuary Hotel and Spa is within easy walking distance. It has several excellent restaurants. The host was very welcoming and gave very thorough instructions. Condo was central to everything. Walkable to the beach and the coffee shop. Clean and comfortable.
Thomas was a wonderful host, communicated great beforehand. The condo was darling, super close to the beach and had everything I needed! Would book again and highly recommend!
Location was great and very close to beach access. ! The facility was clean but worn and dated. Bathroom has issues with draining water and the unit was very dark. Could use new lighting
We’ve come several years to this property. They were working on paving sidewalks so it smelled of hot asphalt several days but that can’t be helped. It is affordable and comfortable and under a two minute walk to the beach boardwalk. Owner is very easy to communicate with
Surrounded by old trees, you feel like staying in a green-house, sitting on the porch and wondering if an alligator will really show up in the lagoon right in front. The vegetation is simply amazing.
The beach is wonderful for bike riding. The apartment is very well equipped with beach chairs for 4, even sand toys for the kids.
To recommend for couples (privacy) and families alike.
We come to Kiawah every year - this is our first time staying in East beach. The villa was exactly as described - clean, well stocked with everything you need and a five minute walk to the beach. The porch looks over the lagoon across the bike path - we saw deer multi times a day, herons and one large alligator. Relaxing and beautiful - we will stay here again.
The decor was very dated. The front door and sliding back door were very difficult to open and close. The construction noise in the morning was very disturbing and would have been nice to know this was going on beforehand. Other than that, the location was close to the beach and very convenient to the parks as well.
A short, amazing walk to the beach. This place has everything you could need. Very clean and comfortable. You won't want to get out of bed here. Lots of towels and blankets. The screened porch is perfect for relaxing after a long day and bike rentals can be dropped off right at your door.
Thank you Tom for allowing us to stay in your villa/condo. We had an amazing time. Unit is very close to the beach and Nest shop and cafe. In addition to it’s excellent location, our favorite part of the condo was the screened back porch. We enjoyed drinking coffee on the porch while watching the squirrels, heron, egert, and gator. We had such a relaxing stay. The condo was well stocked with everything we needed. Thank you.
We love Kiawah and always bring our bikes because the bike lanes are all over the island and are fabulous .
Our cozy condo was very nice. The mattress is excellent! We slept much better here than at home!
There is a resident heron who we have gotten to know over our 2 visits here! He is right outside our window in a little pond where we can watch his every move.
Cannot wait to return!

Mother Daughter Weekend.
Not very pleased, TV in living room did not work. There were bugs/roaches all in the kitchen. The bed was uncomfortable as well. My daughter and I have been coming to Kiawah for the last 7 years for Mother’s Day and we love it here. But the bugs were a big turn off.

I wish you would have contacted me immediately about the Palmetto Bugs; I would have sent pest control people over immediately. We have regular treatments, but this year the bugs have been more persistent. They are indigenous to the area.
The bed is foam topper on extra firm mattress - some people have liked it.
The TV is connected to internet streaming and has a digital antenna. You can get Charleston channels and use Netflix/Prime/YouTube/Hulu accounts.

I sent Phil an email with all checkin information with lockbox code on 3/27/21 along with a gate access pass. He got the gate access, but did not see the other email. Lockbox code will also be sent by VRBO from now on.
This was the latest of multiple years we have rented this unit. We had one issue of which the owner was made aware and addressed promptly. Note: We couldn't ever figure out how to work the tv, but we are a little technically challenged in such matters. We used our lap tops for news, etc and were fine! Who comes to Kiawah to watch tv anyway?
We didn't expect to spend as much time inside the villa as we did, but Tropical Storm Debby arrived soon after we did and made for a rainy, windy start to our vacation. Thankfully, Tom sent us many updates from the Kiawah Island Community Association related to the storm and its effects on the roads, businesses, etc. We had no issues with power or water during the storm. The living room was very cozy, and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the view of the pond outside the back porch, and after the storm passed, we got to see a Great Blue Heron there. Some people may not appreciate that not everything there is the latest and greatest (such as cabinets, fixtures, etc.) but everything was clean, presentable, and in working order, and that was more important to us than how up-to-date it was. Oh, and the TV is a new Smart TV, which we used more than expected, and with no problems. In short, the place suited our needs perfectly.
The place is small, but perfect for two people. Lots of linens, towels, etc and kitchen well stocked. New appliances. Nice screened porch. Very nice to have beach chairs and umbrella. Short walk to beach. The condo was overall clean enough that we were comfortable staying there, but it could use a good "spring cleaning". The baseboards were dirty, the ceiling needs washing or painting, the porch needs a good scrub. Also there could have been a little more specific directions provided to get to the condo and the tv instructions could be fleshed out a little as far as how to switch between the cable and streaming. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but probably will not stay here again due to its location right on the road and bike path. There was a steady stream of cars/delivery folks on the road most of the time as well as people on the path. Too noisy to sit on the porch much and the landscape folks start work with the blowers etc. every morning about 6:45.
