We absolutely loved staying at this rustic 2BR cottage on Lake Nubanusit. It’s a beautiful location, with access to the lake, where we could put in our kayaks and swim off the dock. There’s a grill and outdoor seating, a functional kitchen, and a screened in porch. A really good value!

I had a wonderful time at this lake-side cottage. The house is cozy, very simple, with old-world charm. Everything you need is there. It was perfect for me, but may not be be your taste if you like luxury or a highly elegant dwellling. I stayed alone, but it would be perfect for a couple with two or even three kids. The best part is the screened porch, with water views, and private access to the lake with the dock. The host, Deborah, is very nice and accommodating, and lives just next door, if you need anything. The cottage is on a dead-end gravel road, with minimal traffic, and this is the quietest place you can image, except for the calls of the two resident loons -- perfect for a few days away from it all. Thank you Debbie!

Cottage at Nubanusit

A lovely patina from years of caring use, authentic, genuine, simple and very comfortable. Well equipped, everything works. Screen porch is perfect. Dock and shoreline easy and very pretty, perfect for kayaks/canoes. We look forward to a future stay!
