Host Rating: 5/5 Stars Property Potential: Excellent with minor fixesOur host was outstanding, highly responsive, and did everything in her power to ensure we were taken care of. However, the property itself needs attention from the owners before it reaches its full potential.Issues to Address:Heating System: The central furnace was not working, the wood stove was off-limits, and the freestanding oil heater provided minimal warmth. While the host kindly brought space heaters, one failed initially (replaced prompt the next morning), To stay warm we ran the kitchen oven with the door opened to keep the place comfortable. Electrical Setup: Outlets are limited and hard to reach. The bedroom extension cord felt too light-duty for high-draw space heaters, and running the heaters in the living room and using a toaster in the kitchen tripped the breaker.Stone Steps: Multiple exterior stone steps wobble and shift when walked on. Due to my balance concerns, this felt unsafe.We truly enjoyed the beauty of the property and deeply appreciated the host's fast support. Once these safety and comfort items are addressed, we would gladly return!
