SHABBY. TO LIST THIS PROPERTY AS AIR CONDITIONED WAS
VERY DECEPTIVE. ONE OLD AND NOISY WINDOW UNIT IN
ONE OF FOUR BEDROOMS, AND A SMALL WINDOW UNIT
DOWNSTAIRS IN A HALLWAY DOES NOT MEAN AIR CONDITIONED. WE WERE VERY UNCOMFORTABLE AND ALMOST EVACUATED TO A HOTEL.
Lovely house with an amazing view of lake and mountains. The house is well appointed with everything you might need
kitchen ware linens towels etc. Great location for all the area has to offer hiking shelburne farms quaint little towns and restaurants. Owner easy to work with and receptive to all inquiries.
We hope to return next year.
The house was well situated, overlooking beautiful Lake Champlain and close to many fun Charlotte and Shelbourne activities. We had a wonderful stay and much appreciated the owner’s hospitality and attentiveness.
This is a nice spot very near to Mt Philo for a nice hike. The house was very clean and had a well stocked kitchen. It is about a 20 minute drive to Burlington, but there is plenty to do in Charlotte and Shelburne as well. Great biking and creemees!

Relaxing, comfortable home with wonderful views
We spent a fantastic and relaxing week at this home in Charlotte in August. The home was clean, comfortable and quiet. It is also fully stocked with everything you may need for your stay, from the kitchen to a grill to a nice selection of books. There is plenty of outdoor space to relax, read, etc. The views towards Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks are a highlight. The home is also centrally located between Middlebury and Burlington, and conveniently located to Shelburne Farms. The entrance to Mount Philo is right down the street. The owner is responsive and a pleasure to deal with. We can't wait to return!

Classic VT home at base of Mt Philo - off the main road with super easy access in all directions
The Mt Philo home is set up with everything you could possibly need (or didn't even think you needed (extra umbrellas, shopping bags, etc.) - lovely home, with classic furnishings, excellent beds and room for our dogs to stretch their legs and take great walks.
10 min to Shelburne Museum; 20 min to Burlington, 20 minutes to NY bridge to Ft Ticonderoga, 15 minutes to Middlebury and 2 minutes to great hikes and biking right out the front door.
Well stocked with fantastic library for rainy day or morning.
