About this property

The Historic Homeplace Lake House @ East Zion & Bryce

This historic treasure dates back to the late eighteenth century and was one of the first settlements in Glendale. Glendale is a small farming town passed through by millions each year. This extraordinary piece of history has been a beacon to travelers for over a century. The beautiful gardens, orchards, and farm animals have provided for countless families. The harvest season is figuratively and literally never-ending at The Homeplace. It continues to give freely to travelers worldwide.
For more information, our other listings, or discounted booking assistance, please find us at; ZION FAMILY HOMES. We can't wait to host you! 😊

*Must be able to manage stairs to access front door and upstairs level.

***Please note; This is an updated historic home that is in the country. We do our very best to keep it clean, sanitized, and bug/mouse free. However, there is a chance you will see a spider, bug, or mouse. If this is a total deal breaker for you, DO NOT BOOK THIS HOME! We DO NOT offer refunds for country critters entering the home. If you are a guest of our home and happen to have country life enter, please notify us and we will remedy the issue asap. We spray monthly for bugs and try our best to keep mice, chipmunks, and squirrels away.
We are available to help during your stay. Need travel advice? Directions? Can't find something? We are just a phone call away!
The farm home does not sit far off of Heritage Highway 89, it is convenient and accessible to travelers. There are a few other homes visible from The Homeplace. Our dear neighbors are friendly and will offer you a wealth of knowledge about the home and area if you wish. Take a few minutes to talk to Grandpa Roger next door (he also tends the garden at The Homeplace) and you won't regret it, he grew up in The Homeplace!
The entire home and property is yours to enjoy!
Two king bedrooms make this home ideal for adult couples seeking solace. With four beds total and two bathrooms, families can enjoy the space as well. The main level has a walk-in shower, the upper level bathroom has a soaking tub only (no shower.) Three acres of pasture, gardens, and mature orchards provide privacy and beauty for a true "country-feel."
Orderville is five miles south where you will find a grocery and hardware store, propane, gas station, and two nice restaurant choices. There is a nice coffee shop, The Shop Coffee Co, open 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Stop in for your favorite drinks, sandwiches, or salads. Soup Town Cafe is also a favorite and serves delicious homemade soups and sandwiches, oh . . . and pie and ice cream!

Visiting Zion and Bryce
This was conveniently located for visiting both Bryce and Zion National Parks. It was clean and comfortable and would be plenty of room for a family. Being able to do our laundry was helpful. The photos are accurate, very cute house.
