The house was nice, but it would’ve been nice to know one of the bedrooms was like Harry Potter‘s closet. The Wi-Fi never worked always had a bad connection. Which made it hard with kids and working from home over the holiday. The host wasn’t much help with it. If you have a cat allergy, definitely be aware of the dander in the vents. The kitchen is under stocked with supplies no drinking glasses, but coffee cups, and wine glasses. You share the laundry with another guest, and there was laundry still in it when we arrived.. nice location and very safe!!

Be aware

The property was an old house. The rooms were very small That would have been fine but when we arrived the neighbors looked at our car and said “your car will probably be stolen if you leave it overnight”. In addition we saw some activity in the neighborhood that was not legal. Therefore we did not stay at the property. No refund was given after we informed the owner of our concerns

Tim Arrived at the property on June 4th. The following day around 5pm, Tim text me that he did not stay at the property. I have guests weekly at this property, and not once that someone other than Tim complained that this area feels not safe. Not sure about the neighbor, because I was not there. However, if Tim would look at the reviews from this property, he would realize that there did not even once complain about safety of the area. This area is uptown Franklin Park with stores and restaurants within minutes walking distance. Tim was also able to see the pictures of how apartment looked like before booking it. I am sorry, but to me it looked like Tim's plans had changed and he was trying to leave sooner.

Good location, some amenities lacking

We never had Wi-Fi or tv service during our stay. Host was unresponsive for several days. Code to get into the house was incorrect. There was no booklet to give us basic information, ie, instructions for Wi-Fi, where the trash bins were (we never found them), check out instructions, etc. The filtered water on the refrigerator did not work. I will say that the location was good, and the house was clean.

This property is listed as a house on Vrbo the owner has it as an apartment. This property is clearly a house, but she rented out the basement and attic and not informed the guest that it’s only the 1st floor is what we guest are getting. Unacceptable

The property states its 1st floor apartment. My Guest Tarcia booked my apartment for 2 people. Tarcia invited more than 15 people to the apartment, (by my lower-level guests), and she told me it was not a party-it was small gathering. My lower-level guest told me they had leave the apartment because Tarcia guests were trying to brake into the lower-level apartment.... also 1st floor was soo loud.
