Located just off interstate 64 and 10 minutes from downtown Louisville, the cabin gives peaceful seclusion and location convenience for those looking to explore the area. With a screened in porch, back deck lounge, loft space and all the comfort amenities, you’ll be on your way to writing the next great novel!
The space
A lofted ceiling master bedroom with queen bed, living area with couch seating, television, piano, buck stove fireplace, single bath/shower, full kitchen with range oven, microwave, refrigerator, expresso machine, dining nook, upstairs loft with lounge area that converts into two twin beds, writing desk, mudroom leading to back deck/outdoor lounge/dining area, electric pellet grill/smoker, outdoor hammock, and plenty of surrounding nature make this spot unique and full of zen.

1/4 mile off the main road with keyless entry, private parking for 3 cars on gravel.
Other things to note
BEDS
There is one queen bed in the master bedroom.
The upstairs loft is kept as a lounge area but can be converted into two twin beds. Please let me know if you’ll need these for sleeping arrangements so I can accommodate before your arrival.

PETS
Pets are allowed for a $50 flat fee for a two night stay. If longer than two nights, an additional $25 per night/per pet fee is required to be paid before your arrival.
No large breed dogs please. Only bring animals that are well behaved, potty trained, and not prone to chewing or having any territorial behavior.

Cabin in the Woods

We loved our five days stay during Kentucky Derby week! It was very convenient to the track but was nice to stay a bit further away from all the business! New Albany had some great restaurants too! We enjoyed the cabin, the kitchen was well equipped and loved listening to the music records! My favorite was the screened porch for morning bir song and tea!

Just the nicest cozy place! We felt completely comfortable and had privacy, yet we were never far from something to do when we wished. Loved the eclectic cabin feel. Right up our alley!

Great Weekend Getaway!

The property was unique and a great little bungalow with a charming atmosphere. It was a 15-minute drive from Louisville, which allowed us to go into the city for an afternoon. But it also felt very private, which gave a nice, quiet night in both nights. It had everything we needed, was comfortable, and felt unique while also modern. We loved it!

Beautiful Cabin

We have stayed in several vacation rentals, and this was by far the best one. The cabin is beautiful, cozy and very well appointed. The house was decorated with incredible art, books, albums and instruments. It even has a piano. The cabin was very clean and the kitchen was stocked with nice dishes, utensils, and even an espresso maker. Frequently, it seems that hosts neglect the kitchen and that can be frustrating. We would definitely stay here again!

hard to access

we ended up not staying because it was difficult for me ti get to and from the cabin it had flat rocks foir stair stepe which would of been fine if they were even and had a hand rail
