This 1 bedroom/1 bath oceanfront condo is the perfect St. Augustine getaway for a romantic couple or small family! Guests never want to leave the balcony with its unobstructed view of the Atlantic Ocean, the beach, and the oceanfront swimming pool. Inside, the living area has a new queen sleeper sofa and new dinette table and chairs. If the ocean isn’t enough, you can enjoy high-speed wireless Internet access, flat-screen cable TV with HD channels, and a smart DVD player. The compact kitchenette has a small smooth-top stove, microwave, refrigerator, and Mr Coffee-style coffeemaker, and is stocked with plates/glasses, pots/pans, and utensils. Relax in the bedroom with a Queen bed with a glimpse of the Intracoastal Waterway and flat-screen cable TV with HD channels. Linens and towels provided. The living room offers a NEW QUEEN SLEEPER SOFA for additional sleeping space.


Beacher’s Lodge is a condo-hotel on Anastasia Island in an area known as Crescent Beach, which features a smooth white sandy beach, perfect for walking and playing in the waves, yet just 9 miles south of St Augustine’s historic district. Beacher’s Lodge amenities include private beach walkway, heated oceanfront pool, picnic/grilling area, washer/dryer on premises (not in the condo), and ramp/elevator access from the spacious parking lot. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance.

We loved this well decorated condo. It was clean and had everything we needed. The beach every morning and night as well as the pool all great! A few places close enough to walk, delivery, and just up the road from many attractions!

Great locatikn, good price, needs a couple improvements

Worked out great for our needs, loved the location and the beach. So easy to cross the bridge, go south to Flagler, or head north into St Augustine. Cable and wifi low quality and inconsistent- can't count on them, and couch is a rather uncomfortable low quality futon.

I am so sorry the heat did not work. Please let your host know when issues come up, so that we can address them...we have sent a tech out to fix the heat. The Tv is a smart Tv for guests to access their streaming services, and does have limited free channels.

Everything was good except the TV the one in the bedroom wouldn't connect and the one in the living area only has a few channels that you could actually watch and then it kept going in and out sorta like when the weather is bad other than that we enjoyed our dtsy

Easter Family Get-away

Nice 4 day stay, overall a good expierence. Was well appointed for price when compared to others. Several food places across the street, walgreens and winn-dixie with-in 5 min drive. Beach view was wonderful just besure to have sunglasses with your morning coffee!!😎 Once we got to property we have to call for keys as never got details from VRBO/Owner after we booked but wasnt really a big deal. FYI-$235 VRBO fees were pricy!

Crescent Beach 4th of July

Over all a great trip. The bads- we were never able to connect to the wifi ... The ice maker was broken when we got there, the elevator went out the day we got there but was fixed finally the day we left, and ac went out for the last day and a half. Despite the technical difficulties, we really enjoyed the stay. The location was great, close enough to anything we wanted to do, the restaurants nearby were amazing, the beach and pool were right there. Everything was clean and comfortable. Aesthetically, everything looked updated and nice. No mold or weird smells. If the property gets some practical updates to be more mechanically reliable we would love to come back.

Not as advertised

The property isn’t terrible but it is definitely not as advertised and not worth the amount of money I spent on the stay. The TVs are advertised as “smart tvs” but they are not. The one in the living room didn’t even work and the bedroom only had a couple of local channels, with no smart tv accessibilities. We didn’t bring our Apple TV with us because of the advertisement and that was a huge bummer since the trip was my daughter and I and it’s nice to be able to put something on for her at night to settle down too. The place definitely could use a better cleaning and all the towels smelled like they had been left in the wash for too long. The living room couch was uncomfortable and could use a deep cleaning for sure. And the hot water lasted about 5 minutes top every single time we showered. It was a bummer since it was my daughter and I’s once a year “mommy/daughter” trip and it kind of put a damper on it. I also had to reach out to the booking manager to even find out how to get into the place because they didn’t even send me anything to when the booking was confirmed.

Reviewer Comments: First of all, I would say that this property is in a great location, has a nice beach, and the price was great. We got a confirmation of the reservation, but no instructions about anything. We arrived at the condo and found out that we had to go to the rental company to get our keys. There were no instructions on how to use the TV's. After a few days of finally figuring out that we had to pair the remote to the TV in the den, it turned out the TV glitched the whole time. The room itself is small which would not be a problem except that too much stuff was crammed into it. I will say that I am OCD, so this probably wouldn't bother a lot of people. The silverware drawer was very hard to open and didn't close all the way. The first day my husband realized that we had no hot water in the sinks. He had to call twice to get someone out there, and then we had hot water but you turned it on on the right side, not the left like usual. There was only 1 washcloth in the room, but they did bring more right away. Also, there was only 1 roll of toilet paper, no trash bags, and no pot holders. We got tired of calling, so we just went and bought our own stuff. After I booked the room, I had checked our credit card and saw the charge for the room. While on the trip, I was checking our CC and noticed that the charge was over $500 more than it was supposed to be after seeing the right amount before. My husband called about that. We didn't hear back from them, but later in the day I checked and saw that it was back to the right amount. The next day when my husband had to call about something else, the man said they checked it and it was charged right and that it must be on the credit cards end. But we have never had amounts change on our CC and it's funny that it did change back the day that my husband called. We loved the beach and many of the restaurants in the area, but dealing with the room was an aggravating experience.

Easy check-in & didn't need much communication with host. This is a fairly comfortable place to stay. It could use some repairs here & there which would have made the stay more comfortable. The balcony view is really beautiful & a comfortable place to watch people, pelicans & turtles. The pool is very large & was not crowded. The beach access is very nice too.
You can hear the ocean & watch the tide come & go.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Crescent Beach is a great beach just south of St. Augustine Beach. It's quiet with a wide beach, especially at low tide. You don't have to worry about chair/umbrella companies taking up the whole beach like they do on the Gulf side of FL. Unit 229 was all we needed for our 3-night vacation; however, if you plan to use this unit for more than 2 people, I would advise against it, as it's not big enough for 3 or 4 people. One major concern is the door did not have a deadbolt on it. Other units on the property did have additional security on the entry door. The no deadbolt is a major reason I would never stay in this unit again. While the floors have been updated throughout and a barndoor installed for the bathroom, the unit needs a major renovation. Know that at the 2 sinks within the condo (kitchen & bath), the right side is hot water and the left is cold water; the shower is normal, as it's a turn dial from cold to hot. The kitchen cabinets and drawer are all hung crooked. The unit has a full size fridge but the light is out in the fridge. Xfinity is the cable provider with a limited channel selection and you don't know which channels you actually get. Additionally, the Xfinity cable is glitchy about every 3-5 seconds on every channel, and I had to figure out how to get the accessbility settings changed on the living room TV so that it'd stop talking to me everytime I used the remote. This took about 30 minutes of Googling the TV and how to find a hidden setting. I also had to set up the TV in the bedroom prior to being able to watch it. I'm one of those people who needs the TV on to go to sleep. The bed was a queen with a topper on it. I woke up every morning with a back ache. The bedroom also didn't have many electrical outlets for charging electronics (only 1 outlet accessible from the left side of the bed). The internet worked but was also a bit glitchy. Everytime you left the condo and came back in, you had to re-login to the internet which was aggravating.
