The Neighborhood: Nestled in the heart of Memphis’ vibrant Midtown Cooper Young neighborhood. This prime location offers a perfect blend of urban convenience and local charm, making it an ideal spot for exploring all that Memphis has to offer. Known for its eclectic mix of shops, restaurants, and cultural attractions, Cooper Young is a lively and welcoming community. Stroll through tree-lined streets and discover a range of local favorites, from trendy cafes to unique boutiques. Enjoy easy access to some of Memphis’ most iconic landmarks. Beale Street, with its rich musical heritage and lively nightlife, is just a short drive away. The historic Overton Park, featuring the Memphis Zoo and beautiful green spaces, is nearby for outdoor relaxation. Indulge in a diverse culinary scene with numerous dining options just around the corner. Explore local hotspots like The Beauty Shop, a retro-chic restaurant, or head to the Overton Park Shell for live music performances. The neighborhood’s walkability (rare for Memphis) makes it easy to enjoy local amenities and services. Whether you’re heading to Downtown Memphis or other areas, you’ll find navigating the city simple and convenient. No matter what brings you to town, you’ll appreciate the dynamic energy of Midtown and the comfort of your welcoming retreat.
Getting Around: Unless walking in the neighborhood or to Overton Square/Park, then driving and Uber/Lyft are the best options. Public bus system is very poor.
Other Things to Note: This home is a couple blocks from a train track. This is extremely common in Memphis as we have multiple industrial railroads that run right through town. Luckily, this particular spot is right before an unloading point for the trains so they are always going quite slow. You may hear the horn, but that is literally everywhere in the city limits. Also, Fedex is headquartered just 5 miles down the road and planes can be heard going over head every few minutes at 20-30 minute periods at specific times during the day or night. It is common almost anywhere in Memphis to hear and see the parade of planes coming through. Please try to enjoy the Memphis Charm :)
Interaction with Guests: We are always just a phone call away. Please don't hesitate to ask for anything at all.

Great location in Memphis, quiet street but easy to get to any of the sites (or food!). Place was tidy and organized, kitchen was great and came stocked with a few basic essentials that was very much appreciated.
Loved our stay! Great little neighborhood, clean nicely appointed home. Communication with hosts was easy and fast. Favorite part was their local guide- amazing recommendations- very thoughtful!
This property is centrally located in Memphis with quick access to downtown or East Memphis. Everything we needed was provided - coffee, linens, great recommendations, even laundry detergent. The beds were comfortable and everything was super clean!
This place was great. My boss and I were traveling to Memphis for a conference. We were not at the place much other than to sleep, but it was perfect for our needs. We really enjoyed being so close to so many good coffee shops, restaurants, and places to grab a nice post conference drink.
We were in Memphis to meet up with a friend for a few days. This house was a great spot for us to spend time together. It is in a vibrant and walkable neighborhood with plenty of restaurants. Our bedrooms were comfortable and quiet. The kitchen had everything we needed along with plenty of space to prepare meals.
We enjoyed our stay at Blythe Street. The rental met our basic needs and it was nice to have a warm shower and cozy tea and coffee in the mornings. Property managers were super communicable as well and made our stay easy and affordable. Filtered water was a nice added touch. To make it even better I’d add kitchen towels and bath mats to dry feet. Thank you!
