Great place with patio and backyard

New, clean and nicely decorated place with everything we needed. Comfy beds and great host who was accommodating to our needs. Quiet neighborhood near USD and just minutes away from downtown. Perfect for our family of four.

Great place to stay!

This property is very clean, well-maintained, has cute decor and a nice kitchen. The hosts were very communicative and helpful. It looks just like the pictures. We also had a wheelchair with us and the flat entrance was great for that. Highly recommend!

Excellent host communication. Had to work to get the blinds shut particularly in the bathroom, which is important for privacy. 2bed 1bath, so be aware no master bath. Plenty of pillows and room in the bedrooms though. Has a washer and dryer. Very nice patio area if you have the time to enjoy it! It may just take some minimal cleanup to enjoy your time hanging out outdoors.Overall, pretty good value for the price point I think.

This is a cute little spot. Bed is comfy and has a good shower. The A/C is a window unit in the front room. The noise of the AC unit made sleeping a little difficult even in the back bedroom. Super nice to have dedicated parking but beware it’s down a steep driveway, driving in is fine but backing out can be tricky. A quiet neighborhood and a worthwhile rental.

Perfect spot

We would definitely stay here again! The house was immaculately clean and included more amenities than we had time to enjoy. We especially enjoyed the backyard for eating or relaxing. The host was very prompt in answering all questions and requests. We were in town for our son's boot camp graduation and the house was only a 15 minute drive from MCRD and the airport; it was also near sightseeing opportunities during our brief spare time.

Amazing place

This place was impeccably clean and we loved all the details and amenities it has. We felt secured and really enjoyed our time here. Most importantly, owner’s integrity and friendly vibes, were most appreciated when my wife’s earrings were left behind at the apartment. We went to LA after spending two days in San Diego. We let him know that we left them by accident at the apartment. He kept them safe with him and kindly returned my wife’s earrings, which had a lot of meaning to her. We are so grateful and definitely recommend this beautiful place to anyone that would like to visit the city of San Diego.

Visiting our daughter

This was a great property for us. The beds were comfortable (though low) and the space was clean and inviting. Fully stocked kitchen (yay! coffee!) and great extras like beach towels and toys. The back patio was lovely and cool as it's well shaded. Perfect spot for my morning coffee. Two things to note - my car rental agency gave me a giant vehicle by mistake and it was a bit of a task to back it up the steep, narrow driveway, so get a small to med sized car or SUV and you should be fine. Second, this is a bottom floor rental so you will hear some of the movement of the people above. Not a big deal to us. And a weird note, perhaps, but I loved the lock mechanism - it was the easiest one I've ever used and worked like a charm every time - loved it!

Thank you so much for the kind words and glad you found multiple items in the home you loved. We have scheduled upgrades to the upper unit flooring the first week of June 2024 that will eliminate any static noise. We hope you come and stay again with us next time.

There is nothing better than getting out in the sunshine and kayaking or stand up paddle boarding around Mission Bay! This place is my pride and joy and hope you can get an opportunity to experience what this city has to offer not just around the city, but at this home.

Why they chose this property

I love this neighborhood because it is tucked away, close to multiple freeways for easy access, yet very quiet and beautiful area. You can easily access parks, beaches, major attractions like zoo, seaworld, etc. all within 10-15 mins. Close to downtown and airport too.

What makes this property unique

This property is a duplex with a newly remodeled 2 bedroom nestled at the end of the driveway for private access and underneath mature foliage for shade and privacy. This also has a huge private and fenced in backyard that transports you to a magical place.
